Kalyan Banerjee makes an intervention on The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, 2019
Sir, I will not not take the names of any of the companies, that’s not my business to speak here in Parliament. Who will benefit, who will lose, that’s not the point at all.The simple point that I understand is that if you have taken a loan you will have to pay. Nobody ahould enjoy at the cost of the public.
I also have many corporate clients, so I too could have taken so many corporate clients’ names, but I have not done so. I have a simple question, Madam, I had told you that on January 19, 2019, the Supreme Court, on the basis of the submission, rather undertaking, given by the learned Attorney General, had given a direction that there should be circuit benches set up of the NCLAT. That was a mandatory order, to have been complied with within six months. So when are you going to set those up?
