Thank you, Chairman Sir. I wish to draw the attention of the government that a serious medical condition has affected the Democratic Republic of Congo, in which more than 1,600 people have already died till yesterday. The World Health Organisation has declared a public health emergency of international concern, which is a very serious issue.
The Ebola virus has particularly no treatment and in this modern age where traveling is so frequent between nations by air and sea. Our government should start vigilance at seaports and airports, particularly for the people coming from the African continent so that this Ebola virus does not spread in our country, and cause public health hazards.
