Aparupa Poddar’s Zero Hour notice on government funding for the Kendriya Vidyalaya in Tarakeswar
Thank you, Chairman Sir, for allowing me to participate in the ‘Zero Hour’. In my Arambagh Lok Sabha constituency’s Tarakeshwar, the Kendriya Vidyalaya is running from the State Guest House for the last eight years. The students are facing great difficulties in studying and the teachers and faculty members too are facing problems. The number ofstudents is increasing but the space is limited. The hon. Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has already allotted land for the school, but so far, no grants have been sanctioned for the construction of the school by the Central government. Therefore, through you Sir, I urge upon the Minister of Education to sanction the grants at the earliest and set up the school on the allotted land without further delay. Thank you, Sir.
