Trinamool Youth Congress to build up mass contact: Abhishek Banerjee at Jalpaiguri

Trinamool Youth Congress President Mr Abhishek Banerjee started of his district visits in North Bengal with a rally at Jalpaiguri.

The firebrand leader addressed a huge crowd at the Fanindra Deb School ground. He said that the BJP has come to Bengal to takeover this State but their dreams will remain unfulfilled. He said that the Prime Minister had said that acche din anewala hai, but in reality the bank balances of the BJP ministers have increased by three folds in the last three months.

Mr Banerjee termed the BJP as Bharat Jalao Party. On the chit fund issue, he said that those guilty will be punished and put behind bars. Trinamool Youth Congress will form booth-level committees everywhere across Bengal. At least 50 youth activists will take charge of each booth to build mass contact with five families in their area, he informed.

He said that under West Bengal Chief Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee, there has been a surge of development in Bengal and the BJP and a section of the media are trying to suppress these deeds by spreading mis-information and campaigns of malice.

State North Bengal Development Minister Mr Gautam Deb, MP Bijoy Chandra Barman and party leader Soaurav Chakraborty were also present at the rally.
