Sandhya Ray speaks on the need for modern facilities at post offices

Namaskar, Mananiya Speaker Madam, aaj mujhe pehli baar is Sadan mein bolne ka mauka mila, isliye main abahari hoon. Aj Sadan mein, ek ahem mudra leke bolna chahti hoon, woh hai post office. Sabka sapna tha, ke Bharat Digital India banega lekin aphsos hai ki post offices abhi tak digitalised nahin ho paya hai aur saath hi saath ATM pariseva bhi chalu nahi ho paya hai mere sansadiya kshetron mein. Isliye main chahti hoon ki Paschim Medinipur aur Bangal ke sabhi gaon aur sheher ke har post office mein ATM pariseva aur modern suvidhaye grahak ko diya jaye. Iske hone se post office mein grahak sankhya badhega, post office ki jo ahemiyat hai woh sabko samajh mein aayega aur sabke liye labh dayak bhi hoga.

Namaste, Hon’ble Speaker Madam, I have received the opportunity to speak in the House today, for the first time hence I am grateful for that. I would like to bring up an important issue in the House today and I would like to speak about post offices. Every citizen of the country had dreamt of a Digital India but it is unfortunate that Post Offices still remain non-digitised; even ATM services have not begun in several areas. It is because of this I would like for all villages and towns in West Midnapore and Bengal in general to have post offices with proper working ATM systems in place. post offices should also provide other modern technical assistances as well. If this is ensured, the number of citizens using the services of post offices will go up. This will increase the importance of Post Offices and will be beneficial for all.
