Mamata Slams Left For Fuel Hike And ‘Bandhs For The Sake Of Bandhs’
Ms. Mamata Banerjee was scathing in her attack on the Left a day before the Bandh. Addressing the media, she said: “Firstly, the Government of West Bengal collects the maximum cess on fuel in the country. Then, they call two bandhs on exactly the same issue in nine days. If the State government is so concerned why don’t they reduce the cess. This will help the common man. “When asked on her stand on bandhs the Trinamool supremo was crystal clear: “Three years ago bandhs were many. Today, things have changed .The Left have to answer some tough questions asked by people.”
