Sir, the problem here is very serious. The problem is, when you promise something and do something else.
Sir, yesterday, very quietly, the prices of all subsidised gas was increased… by March, 2018, all the subsidies will be lifted. There is a notification saying that every month the prices will be increased by Rs 4 till March 31, and then there will be no subsidy.
Sir, what is going on? There was a big tamasha made about the announcement of GST, but I don’t want to go into that now. Even when this was on VAT it was 2-3%, now with the new GST, it has become… (interruptions)
Sir, the discussion is about a broader issue. The Government has a social commitment. It has some social obligation. My bigger point is, Sir, they are not keeping the promises which they had made. This is just one example. Sir, the oil prices internationally have come down from $111 to $48.
Sir, my question to this Government is when they made these promises, why don’t they fulfill these promises?
