Madam, I want to make three humble recommendations to the hon minister. The national highways in my constituency, and in some areas of Bengal, are in bad condition and require immediate repair.
Secondly, in my constituency there is a river called Dunduli. People belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, Adivasis and poor people live along this river. There is an urgent need for a bridge on this river. Additionally, a bridge on the river Bhabla (in my area Basirhat) was approved in the previous Budget, but no work has commenced yet.
Lastly Madam, the minister must look into the problems faced by common people in paying toll tax. A lot of time is wasted in the process. Minister must look into this.
