Bengal Tourism creates packages for the year-end festive season
West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation (WBTDC) has created special tour packages on the occasion of the upcoming festive season, comprising Christmas and New Year. Three packages have been planned.
A special tourist bus would take people on a tour of the well-known churches of Kolkata on the evening of December 24. Included in this package are trips to Mother House and to the midnight mass at St James Church. The price has been kept at an affordable Rs 1,050 per person.
Another package has been planned comprising a tour of the well-known churches of Kolkata, Chandannagar and Bandel, which includes churches of French and Portuguese heritage. For this tour, the price is Rs 1,250 per person.
For the last evening of the year, that is, December 31, a package titled ‘Welcome 2017’ has been created, for which tourists would be taken on a luxury cruise along the Ganga on board MV Sumangal. For Rs 2,999, tourists would be treated to cultural programmes as well as indoor games and a celebratory ushering in of 2017 at midnight.
All these tour packages can be booked either at the WBTDC office at BBD Bag in Kolkata or through the website of WBTDC.
বর্ষশেষে বিশেষ ভ্রমণ প্যাকেজ পশ্চিমবঙ্গ পর্যটনের
এবার বর্ষশেষে বিশেষ ভ্রমণ প্যাকেজের আয়োজন করছে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ পর্যটন উন্নয়ন বিভাগ।বাসে এবং প্রমোদতরণীতে ভ্রমনার্থীদের ঘুরতে যাওয়ার বন্দোবস্ত করেছে ওয়েস্ট বেঙ্গল ট্যুরিজম ডেভেলপমেন্ট কর্পোরেশন।
জনপ্রতি ১০৫০ টাকা খরচ হবে এই ভ্রমণে। ২৪ ডিসেম্বর সন্ধ্যায় কলকাতার সমস্ত চারচ ঘুরিয়ে দেখাবে এই বিশেষ বাস। দেখানো হবে মাদার হাউস, সেন্ট জেমস চার্চের মধ্য রাতের প্রার্থনা।
পাশাপাশি কলকাতা ও হুগলির সমস্ত চার্চ দর্শনের সুযোগ মিলবে ভ্রমনার্থীদের। কলকাতা ও চন্দননগর দর্শনে জনপ্রতি খরচ হবে ১২৫০ টাকা।
‘ওয়েলকাম ২০১৭’ টুরে বছর শেষের সন্ধ্যেয় গঙ্গাবক্ষে ভ্রমনার্থীদের নিয়ে যাবে ‘ওয়েস্ট বেঙ্গল ট্যুরিজম ডেভেলপমেন্ট কর্পোরেশন’। ‘এমভি সুমঙ্গল’ প্রমোদতরণীতে সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান ছাড়াও থাকবে নানা ধরনের ইনডোর গেমস ও রাত ১২ টায় বর্ষবরণের সুযোগ।
কলকাতায় পর্যটন উন্নয়ন নিগমের বিবাদী বাগ শাখার অফিসে গিয়ে এই ট্যুর প্যাকেজ বুক করা যাবে। এছাড়াও অনলাইনে www.wbtdc.gov.in www.wbtourism.gov.in এই দুটি ওয়েবসাইটের মাধমে বুক করা যাবে।
