WB CM conducts administrative review meeting for Birbhum in Bolpur
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee chaired the administrative review meeting in Bolpur today. It was held at the Gitanjali auditorium.
This is the second time that Mamata Banerjee came to Birbhum district this year; earlier, in January, she had visited the Baul Mela in Joydeb.
In keeping with the system started at the last administrative review meeting in Howrah, 50 students were invited, this time from Visva-Bharati University.
In a significant achievement, the Birbhum Zilla Parishad had, this month, received the award for being the best zilla parishad in Bengal.
বীরভূমে প্রশাসনিক বৈঠক করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী
আজ বোলপুরে প্রশাসনিক বৈঠক করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। গীতাঞ্জলি অডিটোরিয়ামে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় এটি।
এই নিয়ে দ্বিতীয়বার বীরভূম জেলায় এলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। এর আগে জানুয়ারি মাসে তিনি বীরভূমে আসেন সেখানে তিনি জয়দেবের মেলা পরিদর্শন করেন।
হাওড়ার প্রশাসনিক বৈঠকের মত এখানেও বিশ্ব-ভারতী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ৫০ জন ছাত্রছাত্রীকে এখানে আমন্ত্রণ জানানো হয়েছিল।
উল্লেখ্য, চলতি মাসেই কাজের নিরিখে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের কাছ থেকে সেরা জেলা পরিষদের সম্মান আদায় করেছে বীরভূম। সেরার তকমা পাওয়ায় মুখ্যমন্ত্রীকে অন্যরকমভাবে স্বাগত জানানোর প্রস্তুতি শুরু করে জেলা প্রশাসন।
