Abhishek Banerjee leads the Walk For Change (4) in Jadavpur
Kolkata, April 22: Abhishek Banerjee today led the Walk For Change (4) in support of Manish Gupta from Jadavpur Police Station. The Padayatra attracted thousands of young people who rallied behind Abhishek to show their support to the call for change.
Friday’s Padayatra was the fourth one of the series as Abhishek Banerjee is trying to reach out to the young people in different constituencies across Kolkata. The series started with one in Kasba in support of Javed Khan, then in Bhabanipur in support of Subrata Bakshi going on to the next one in Dum Dum in support of Bratya Basu. In fact, he is scheduled to go for another one in Rajarhat in support of Sabyasachi Dutta. Sabyasachi Dutta. In fact, he has made it clear some days back that he would visit and lead Padayatras in all the areas where Trinamool candidates need his support to mobilize the youths and students.
