Abhishek Banerjee leads the Gen Y in support of Javed Khan in Kasba
Kolkata, April 9: Abhishek Banerjee today led a huge padayatra of young professionals, students, youth leaders of the Trinamool family in support of Javed Khan, the Trinamool candidate from Kasba.
The padayatra started around 4.45 PM from Bijon Setu and traversed through Kasba upto Jadavpore Thana. What made it different from the other political processions was the presence of the youth brigade of the Trinamool family. Apart from Abhishek and Javed Khan himself, the other notable people who took part in the padayatra were… Kalyan Banerjee’s son Shirshanu and daughter Promiti, Biswanath and Baidyanath, the two doctor sons of MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, legislator Firhad Hakim’s three daughters, Priyadarshini, Sabba and Afsa, Dr. Shashi Panja’s daughter Puja, Atin Ghosh’s daughter Priyadarshini, legislator Sadhan Pande’s daughter Shreya Pande. Students from various south Kolkata colleges were also present in the procession in great numbers, making it a notable and vibrant occasion for the general people of Kasba.
