Mamata Banerjee has ensured development for everyone irrespective of caste, creed and religion: Abhishek Banerjee

The North Bengal edition of the annual Chhatro Jubo Sammelan was held at the Kanchenjungha Stadium in Siliguri today. Senior leaders of the party and youth leaders were present at the public meeting.

National President of All India Trinamool Youth Congress (AITYC), Abhishek Banerjee addressed the huge turnout of supporters.

Under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee, roads, schools and colleges have been built, and jobs have been created.

She has always been with the people of Darjeeling and has ensured their development.

Those who want to divide Bengal on religious lines do not have the courage to fight us politically.

Bengal is a centre of culture.

Fires have flared up in different states over the release of a film, states where the BJP is in power. No such thing has ever happened in Bengal.

Bengal is an example of culture, civilisation and religious harmony.

Hinduism teaches us to be tolerant of other religions. Hinduism teaches us to take everyone along.

Who eats what, who wears what, who does what – all these are being dictated by the BJP.

They want to divide Bengal on the basis of religion, but it is not so easy here. Religious unity is rooted strongly in the state.

Netaji had said, give me blood and I will give you freedom, while the BJP says, give us power and will give you a bloody Bengal.

We fight on the basis of development. Neither are we are not atheists like the CPI(M) nor do we sell religion like the BJP.

There is not even a single example of any good that BJP has done for Hinduism over the last four years

Mamata Banerjee is working for everyone – she is both renovating the Dakshineswar temple as well as giving stipends to imams, and then too, providing all possible help for the Kapil Muni Ashram.

Mamata Banerjee believes in work and not empty words, leaders of other parties just give speeches.

While others just give speeches, our Mamata Banerjee gives rations at subsidised rates to ease things for the people – this is the difference.

During the last six-and-a-half years, Mamata Banerjee has visited north Bengal 80 times, and has ensured development for everyone irrespective of caste, creed and religion.

Mamata Banerjee does not work just for getting votes. She has distributed 70 lakh bicycles to students. That has nothing to do with elections.

Within a gap 48 hours, our Chief Minister came back from the Netherlands with a United Nations award for Kanyashree while our Prime Minister came back from the same place with a bicycle. This is where the difference lies.

We follow what we promise, something no other Chief Minister can claim to have done.

We have to become united to ensure that whatever happens, Bengal remains united.

The Prime Minister has taken anti-people decisions like note ban and GST; because of note ban, black money has increased. A Prime Minister’s responsibility is to work for the good of the people.

Trinamool has never backed down from protesting against anti-people measures.

GST is basically for helping capitalists and crorepatis and thinking nothing of the common people.

The BJP does not know the value of earning one rupee. They are never with the people, they can only be seen on TV.

In six years, we have built 28,000 km of roads, given Kanyashree scholarships to 45 lakh girl children and scholarships to 1.4 lakh minority-community students, bicycles under Sabuj Sathi scheme to 70 lakh children, and started Ruposhree and Manobik schemes.

The more they have opposed her, the more has the popularity of Mamata Banerjee increased.

An ideal example of the BJP’s pro-people government – 18% GST on biscuits while 3% on gold!

The BJP is trying to bring the FRDI Bill which would result on the common people losing their rights over their saved money, and the Central Government getting their hands on them any time they want. Our party has opposed it strongly in Parliament. Such a huge anti-people decision has never been taken by any government after independence.

 

জাতি ধর্ম বর্ণ নির্বিশেষে সকলের কাছে পরিষেবা পৌঁছে দিয়েছেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ঃ অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়

প্রতি বছরের মত এবছরও তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের বার্ষিক ছাত্র যুব সম্মেলন অনুষ্ঠিত হচ্ছে। উত্তরবঙ্গের শিলিগুড়িতে কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা স্টেডিয়ামে আজ এই সম্মেলন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

সেখানে বক্তব্য রাখেন তৃণমূল যুব কংগ্রেসের সভাপতি অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

তাঁর বক্তব্যের কিছু অংশঃ

মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের নেতৃত্বে অনেক উপ্পনয়ন হয়েছে। রাস্তাঘাট, স্কুল কলেজ নির্মাণ ও কর্মসংস্থান হয়েছে।

যারা ধর্মের ভিত্তিতে বাংলাকে ভাগ করতে চায় তারা রাজনৈতিকভাবে মোকাবিলা করার সাহস রাখে না।

একটা হিন্দি ছবির মুক্তিকে কেন্দ্র করে আজ বিভিন্ন রাজ্যে আগুন জ্বলছে আর সেই সব জায়াগায় ক্ষমতায় রয়েছে বিজেপি। আজ পর্যন্ত বাংলায় কখনো ছবি মুক্তি নিয়ে এরকম বিশৃঙ্খলা তৈরি হয়নি।

বাংলা সংস্কৃতি, সভ্যতা ও ধর্মনিরপেক্ষতার জ্বলন্ত উদাহরণ।

হিন্দু ধর্ম আমাদের নিজের ধর্মের প্রতি আস্থাশীল ও অন্য ধর্মের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধাশীল হতে শেখায়।হিন্দু ধর্ম সবাইকে নিয়ে চলতে শেখায়, বিভাজন শেখায় না।

কে কি খাবে, কি পরবে, কিভাবে চলবে তা ঠিক করে দিচ্ছে বিজেপি সরকার।

ধর্মের ভিত্তিতে বাংলাকে ভাগ করতে চায় ওরা। কিন্তু মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের দেহে রক্ত থাকতে তিনি তা হতে দেবেন না।
বাংলার মাটিতে থাকার কোন যোগ্যতাই ওদের নেই।

বাংলার মানুষকে বোকা বানিয়ে, হিন্দু মুসলমানের মধ্যে দাঙ্গা বাঁধানো অত সহজ নয়। বাংলার মাটি শক্ত মাটি, দুর্জয় ঘাঁটি।

নেতাজি বলেছিলেন তোমরা আমায় রক্ত দাও আমরা তোমাদের স্বাধীনতা দেব আর বিজেপি বলে তোমরা আমাদের গদি দাও আমরা তোমাদের রক্তাক্ত বাংলা দেব।

আমরা উন্নয়নের নিরিখে লড়াই করি, আমরা সিপিএমের মত নাস্তিক নই, আর বিজেপির মত আমরা ধর্মও বিক্রি করি না।
বিজেপি ৪ বছরে হিন্দু ধর্মের জন্য কি করেছে, একটা উদাহরণও কেউ দিতে পারবে না।

মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় সংখ্যালঘুদের যেমন ইমাম দিচ্ছেন তেমনই দক্ষিণেশ্বরে স্কাইওয়াক তৈরি করেছেন, গঙ্গাসাগরের পরিবর্তন করেছেন, কপিল মুনির আশ্রম সংস্কার করেছেন।

মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় কথা কম কাজ বেশি এই নীতি তে বিশ্বাস করেন, আর বাকি দলগুলি শুধু ভাষণ দেয়।

ওরা শুধু ভাষণ দেয় আর আমাদের নেত্রী বাংলার মানুষের পাতে রেশন দেয়, এটাই ওদের সঙ্গে আমাদের পার্থক্য।

এই সাড়ে ৬ বছরে ৮০ বার উত্তরবঙ্গে গেছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। জাতি ধর্ম বর্ণ নির্বিশেষে সকলের কাছে পরিষেবা পৌঁছে দিয়েছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

৭০ লক্ষ ছাত্রছাত্রী সবুজ সাথী সাইকেল পেয়েছেন। তারা কিন্তু ভোটাধিকার প্রয়োগ করবেন না। মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় রাজনীতি ভোট আর তোষণের জন্য উন্নয়ন করেননি। তাদের ভবিষ্যৎ উজ্জ্বল করার জন্য এই পদক্ষেপ নিয়েছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।

৪৮ ঘণ্টার ব্যবধানে নেদারল্যান্ডস থেকে মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় কন্যাশ্রী প্রকল্পের জন্য প্রথম পুরস্কার নিয়ে এলেন আর প্রধান মন্ত্রী ফিরে এলেন সাইকেল নিয়ে। এই হল মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ও প্রধানমন্ত্রীর মধ্যে পার্থক্য।

আমরা কথা দিলে কথা রাখি। আগের কোন মুখ্যমন্ত্রীকে বাংলার মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়াতে দেখা যায়নি।

আমাদের ঐক্যবদ্ধ হতে হবে। জীবন গেলেও আমরা আমাদের বাংলাকে অশান্ত হতে দেব না।

নোটবন্দি, জি এস টি কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার একের পর এক জনবিরোধী সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে। ওরা বলেছিল নোট বন্দির পর কালো টাকা ফিরে আসবে বদলে কালো টাকা আরও বেড়ে গেছে। প্রধানমন্ত্রীর দায়িত্ব ভারতবর্ষের মানুষকে এই সব কিছুর কৈফিয়ত দেওয়া।তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস কিন্তু চুপ করে থাকেনি, এর প্রতিবাদ করেছে।জনবিরোধী সিদ্ধান্ত হলে আমরা বৃহত্তর আন্দোলনে যাব।
জি এস টি হল পুঁজিপতি আর কোটিপতিদেরচাটুকারিতা আর দালালি এবং সাধারণ মানুষের পেতে আঘাত।

১ টাকা রোজগারের কি মূল্য বিজেপির সরকার তা বোঝে না। ওরা মাঠে ময়দানে নেই, শুধু টিভির পর্দায় রয়েছে।

৬ বছরে আমরা ২৮ হাজার কিলোমিটার রাস্তা করেছি। ৪৫ লক্ষ কন্যাশ্রী, ৭০ লক্ষ সবুজ সাথী সাইকেল, ১ কোটি ৪০ লক্ষ সংখ্যালঘু স্কলারশিপ দিয়েছি। সবুজ সাথী ও মানবিক প্রকল্প চালু করা হয়েছে।

ওরা যত বিরোধিতা করেছে মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের জনপ্রিয়তা ততই বেড়েছে।ওরা যত কুৎসা করেছে আমরা উন্নয়নের দিকে তত এগিয়েছি।

সাধারণ মানুষের খাওয়ার বিস্কুটের ওপর কর ১৮% আর ধনীদের সোনার বিস্কুটের ওপর কর ৩% – এই হল বিজেপির জনদরদী সরকারের উদাহরণ।

বিজেপি এফ আর ডি আই বিল আনছিল যার ফলে সাধারণ মানুষের গচ্ছিত টাকার ওপর মানুষের কোন অধিকার থাকবে না, যখন তখন সেই টাকা নিয়ে নেবে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার। আমরা আমাদের নেত্রীর নির্দেশে সংসদে এর তীব্র বিরোধিতা করেছি। এত বড় জন বিরোধী সিদ্ধান্ত স্বাধীনতার পর কেউ কোনদিন নেয়নি।
