KMC to install CCTV cams to enhance security in schools
To further bolster the students’ safety, Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) has decided to instal closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras in the schools run by it.
KMC already employs trained nursemaids (ayah) in its schools to take special care of small children. Then there are inspectors who tour the schools regularly. Now they have been inspected to visit the schools every day and submit reports to the mayoral officer in charge of education.
