Trinamool to organise protest rally at Bhubaneshwar
Trinamool Congress is all set to hold a protest rally just three kilometres away from the office of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) at Bhubaneswar in Odisha.
Senior Trinamool Congress leaders including Secretary General of the party Partha Chatterjee, All India General Secretary, Subrata Bakshi, Chandrima Bhattacharya and Manish Gupta met Sudip Bandyopadhyay in CBI’s office on Sunday evening.
After coming out of the CBI’s office, Partha Chatterjee said: “We met him like our friends. His willpower is strong. He asked us not to worry.”
Partha Chatterjee added: “The party supremo Mamata Banerjee had been fighting against the Centre’s arbitrary decision on demonetisation. It is clear to the people that we have been repeatedly attacked just because of protesting against demonetisation. We are trying to reach out to the people each and every where to make them understand the same and people are with us.”
ভুবনেশ্বরে প্রতিবাদ কর্মসূচি তৃণমূলের
ওড়িশার ভুবনেশ্বরে একটি প্রতিবাদ সভার আয়োজন করেছে তৃণমূল কংগ্রস। আগামী মঙ্গলবার সিবিআই দপ্তরের মাত্র তিন কিমি দূরে হবে এই সভাটি।
গতকাল চার সদস্যের এক প্রতিনিধি দল ভুবনেশ্বরে সিবিআই দপ্তরে সুদীপ বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করেন। প্রতিনিধি দলে ছিলেন তৃণমূলের মহাসচিব পার্থ চট্টোপাধ্যায়, সাধারন সম্পাদক সুব্রত বক্সী, চন্দ্রিমা ভট্টাচার্য ও মনিশ গুপ্ত।
সিবিআই দপ্তরে সুদীপ বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করে বেরিয়ে পার্থ চট্টোপাধ্যায় জানান, “সুদীপবাবুর মনোবল অনেক বেশি, আমরা ওনার সঙ্গে কথা বলেছি, উনি আমাদের দুশ্চিন্তা করতে বারণ করেছেন”।
পার্থ চট্টোপাধ্যায় আরও বলেন, “এটা জনগনের কাছে স্পষ্ট যে দলনেত্রী কেন্দ্রের হঠকারী নোট বাতিলের সিদ্ধান্তের প্রতিবাদ করেছেন বলেই তৃণমূলকে বারবার আক্রমণ করা হচ্ছে।ভয় দেখিয়ে তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের মাথা নত করা যাবে না। আমাদের লড়াই চলবে। জনগন আমাদের পাশেই আছেন।”
