Trinamool’s protest march against Opposition’s smear campaign
Trinamool Congress took out a protest march today in Kolkata in response to the false allegations, slander and misinformation that the Opposition has been spreading. It was led by senior leaders of the party.
The protest march started at 3.30 PM from Sealdah Railway Station complex and wound down at the Dorina Crossing in Esplanade, passing through Beliaghata Road, AJC Bose Road, Moulali and SN Banerjee Road along the way.
Mamata Banerjee has constantly slammed the Left Front for taking the State back by decades during its 34-year-rule; and now, instead of fighting politically, they are intent on maligning the characters of leaders. As she said recently, “Let them compete with us on the plank of development and progress. Judge us on the parameter of work done; judge us on the basis of our performance. But the Opposition is afraid to do that.”
কু९সা ও অপপ্রচারের বিরুদ্ধে তৃণমূলের মিছিল
ক্রমাগত কু९সা ও অপপ্রচারের বিরুদ্ধে আজ কলকাতার রাস্তায় একটি প্রতিবাদ মিছিল করল তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস। ছাত্র–যুবরা সহ রাজ্যের কয়েকজন দলীয় নেতাও উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
আজ দুপুর সাড়ে তিনটেয় শিয়ালদা স্টেশন থেকে মিছিল শুরু হয় এবং শেষ হয় ধর্মতলায় ডোরিনা ক্রসিং-এ।
মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় বলেন, ৩৪ বছরে কোন উন্নয়ন করেনি, শুধু রাজ্যকে ধ্বংসের পথে এগিয়ে নিয়ে গেছে আর এখন আমাদেরকে রাজনৈতিকভাবে মোকাবিলা করতে না পেরে আমআদের বিরুদ্ধে কু९সা, অপপ্রচার করছে। তৃণমূলকে কালিমালিপ্ত করার চেষ্টা চালাচ্ছে। বিরোধীদের উচিত উন্নয়নমূলক কাজের মাধ্যমে আমাদের সঙ্গে প্রতিযোগিতা করা। তাদের উচিত কাজের মাপকাঠিতে আমাদের পরিমাপ করা। কিন্তু বিরোধীরা তা করতে ভয় পায়।
