WB Govt proposes City-to-City partnership with Japan
West Bengal Government has proposed to set up a City-to-City (C2C) partnership of Howrah in the State with Yokohama in Japan.
This bilateral co-operation will lead to social, economic and cultural exchanges between the two satellite cities with long history.
West Bengal Chief Minister wrote on her Facebook page:
“There will be infrastructural, administrative and logistic co-operation between the cities resulting in long-term employment opportunities, skills and capacity building and all-round development.
Howrah will change to a new city altogether.
My best wishes to everyone.”
