In the course of last 5 years, Kolkata has undergone a face-lift, under the initiatives of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC). The Trinamool-run KMC has undertaken various measures for the residents of the city.

From beautified road dividers to modernised automated garbage vats; underpasses to beautified banks of river Hoogly, Kolkata is now a clean and green city.
