Trinamool holds Worker`s Convention in the Hills
Trinamool Congress leader from North Bengal, Mr Goutam Deb said that the party can win in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls by fielding its own candidate in the district of Darjeeling. He said that Trinamool Congress is now a force to reckon with in the district. He was addressing the first convention of the AITTUC at Pokhribong in Darjeeling.
Addressing the Workers` Convention, he said that the strength of party in the Hills is increasing day by day. Trinamool Congress is a prime force in the Hills, he added. He said that in the coming Lok Sabha Elections there will be candidates who will represent the symbol of the party and win. He also announced that Trinamool Chairperson and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will be arriving in North Bengal for a three-day visit on January 21, 2014.
