Private cabins in Govt Hospitals to provide 5-star services
There was a time when government hospitals were dreaded by patients and their families. But they have now undergone huge makeovers under the Trinamool Government. The private cabins are now spick and span; they have facilities like any private hospital.
Now under the instructions of Bangla Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, more such private cabins are being set up. The service has already started in Woodburn Ward, SSKM Hospital and Kolkata Medical College Hospital.
In Kolkata Medical College, cabins are now operational in the 9th and 10th floor. The cabins have separate toilets, tv, sofa and cabinets, similar to such cabins in private hospitals. Like suites of 5 star hotels, the cabins have balconies, kitchen with microwave and fridge, as well as modern toilets.
Patients will not have to shell out any extra charge for doctors and nurses. The families of the patients will be able to avail the service of fair price medicine shops. The cost of treatment including surgery is much less than any other private hospital.
