WB CM expected to visit Nadia district on August 8, 2014

West Bengal Chief Minister Ms MamataBanerjee is expected to hold a review meeting in the Nadia district and addressa public rally on August 8, 2014. The Chief Minister has been holding reviewmeetings all over the State, taking stock of the progress of developmentalworks being done in the districts.
The West Bengal Chief Minister has alreadychaired around 65 meetings in the districts, visiting each district at leastthrice before the 2014 General elections. It is expected that the WB CM will visit North Bengal on August 12, whereshe will conduct review meetings in Uttar and Dakshin Dinajpur.
The West Bengal Chief Minister earlier saidthat she will complete the visits to the districts before the end of August.The review meetings are a process where the entire entourage of officials fromthe State secretariat accompany the Chief Minister to the districts and conductmeetings with the district officials. In this manner, the district officialsneed not come to the State secretariat for permissions and orders and administrativedecisions are taken in the district itself, in presence of the Chief Minister.
