August 14 is celebrated by the Bangla Government as Kanyashree Dibas, dedicated to the flagship Kanyashree Prakalpa or Kanyashree Scheme. This much-feted scheme was conceived by Chief Minister Banerjee and it was she who inaugurated it on October 1, 2013.

The scheme has benefitted over 60 lakh girls in schools, colleges and universities across the State by spending over 7000 crores of rupees.

Kanyashree Prakalpa has six primary objectives: Incentivising education through scholarships; incentivising education through scholarships; discouraging early marriage of girls;reducing the incidence of dropping out of schools; improving infant mortality rate and maternal mortality rate by delaying the age of marriage and consequently increasing the age of first birth; eradicating under-nutrition and malnutrition of female children; and, preventing trafficking and exploitation.

The scheme also pays for the vocational training of girls so that after passing out of schools, they can start earning by being self-employed.

On this occasion, Mamata Banerjee addressed students at a grand programme. She also awarded girls who had achieved in various fields, including education, sports and others.

Highlights of the chief minister’s speech:

My greetings to all on the occasion of Kanyashree Dibas. Today, the Kanyashree Scheme steps into its sixth year. We celebrate Kanyashree Dibas on August 14, the day we dedicate to girls.

We got the United Nations Public Service Prize for Kanyashree.

Girls are now spread across the globe, excelling in different fields. I harbour a lot of hopes for my Kanyashree girls too to excel. I want them to rise up in life with determination, dedication and devotion, using their education, culture and humanism as a springboard.

We will set up Kanyashree colleges in different districts.

School, college and even university girls now get Kanyashree scholarships.

State Government also provides Swami Vivekananda Scholarships for university education.

As students from Bangla, you have to learn other languages too but you should not forget your mother tongue. Bengali is our pride. There is no language in the world as sweet as Bengali.

I want Kanyashree girls to be feted for their achievements in all corners of the globe. I want them to be able to hold up their heads proudly and say, “I am a Kanyashree”.

The Utkarsh Bangla Scheme has also been awarded by the United Nations.

Two internationally-recognised schemes of the Bangla Government are coming together for a better world. Class XI and XII students enlisted under the Kanyashree Scheme are now going to get career-centric technical education under the aegis of Utkarsh Bangla.

Incidentally, among other prestigious awards, both have won the WSIS Prize, given by ITU, an agency of the United Nations. While the Kanyashree Scheme won it in 2016, the Utkarsh Bangla Scheme won it in 2019.

The students will also get a stipend of Rs 50 per day during the course of the training. This would be added to the regular yearly stipend given under Kanyashree. It may be mentioned here that Kanyashree Clubs have also been involved in Utkarsh Bangla.

Under Utkarsh Bangla, short-term courses of duration between 80 and 600 hours are offered by government as well as private institutions, in fields like telecom, tailoring, beauty treatment, computer education, jewellery-making and many more.

Like the rest of the Utkarsh Bangla Scheme, the training of Kanyashree girls will also be overseen by the Paschimbanga Society for Skill Development, which comes under the Technical Education, Training and Skill Development Department.

 

International recognition for Utkarsha Bangla, Sabooj Sathi

“Utkarsh Bangla” and “Sabooj Sathi” projects have won the prestigious World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) awards under the aegis of the United Nations.

Out of 1062 nominations in 18 categories, “Utkarsh Bangla” got the topmost award and emerged a winner in Capacity Building category.

“Sabooj Sathi” ranked in the first five as a champion project under ICT application:E-Government category.

Reacting to the development, Mamata Banerjee wrote on her Facebook page, “These projects are for our young generation – skill development training for increasing employment opportunities for 6 lakh youth every year under “Utkarsh Bangla” and environment-friendly bicycles to school going students in classes IX to XII under “Sabooj Sathi”. Nearly 1 Crore cycles are being distributed since the inception of the project.”

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee recently launched the website – www.pbssd.gov.in – the e-governance portal of Utkarsh Bangla, a flagship scheme for skill development in Bengal. The annual target of the scheme is to train 6 lakh youth.

The portal will enable the State Government to manage the multifarious needs of the skilling ecosystem, starting from candidate registration to empanelment of training partners and their training centres to online biometric attendance system.

It portal will assist in maintaining transparency and accessibility in reaching out to the unemployed youth in every corner of the State. It will also act as a one-stop-shop for industries where companies would be able to find and recruit skilled manpower as per their requirement.

The short-term training duration starts from 300 hours and is completely free for the candidates. Some of the sectors for short-term training include tourism & hospitality, apparel making, agriculture and also engineering specific sectors like plumbing, welding and automobile servicing.

In its next phase, the portal will enable online payments, monitoring of skill trainings, industry interface, post-placement tracking of candidates, grievance redressal, etc.

It may be mentioned that at present there are 570 training providers with 1,198 short-term training centres, 250 industrial training institutes (ITIs), 152 polytechnics and 3,390 vocational training centres that are imparting training to 3.23 lakh candidates in over 30 different sectors.

Developmental activities taken up in Alipurduar

On June 25, 2014, heeding to a long-standing demand of the people, Aliupurduar was made a new district, the state’s 20th one. This has helped the people of the region to more easily access the various government services. The creation of the new district has also helped in the proper distribution of developmental efforts.

Over the last six-and-a-half years, the Trinamool Congress Government has undertaken large-scale developmental activities in the Alipurduar region, which was then part of the district of Cooch Behar. In the last one year, these activities have become more focused after the formation of Jhargram.

Tabulated below are the important developments:

 

Uttrakanya

For people to better access the government for its services, the government set up a secretariat for the districts of north Bengal – Uttarkanya. Besides offices of the State Government, the secretariat also houses officials of pension, provident fund and group insurance. As a result of the opening of Uttarkanya, people of the region no longer have to run to Kolkata for accessing most government services.

 

Dooarskanya

An administrative building for the district of Alipurduar named Dooarskanya has been built at a cost of Rs 50 crore. It houses district administrative offices of about 40 departments, including the office of the district’s superintendent of police. As a result, it has become very convenient for the people of the district to access various services.

 

Health and Family Welfare

Multi/Super-speciality hospital: 1 set up in Falakata

Fair-price medicine shops: 2 set up at Alipurduar District Hospital and Birpara State General Hospital; buying from these fair-price shops has resulted in more than 85,000 people getting discounts of more than Rs 2.83 crore

Fair-price diagnostic centre: 3 set up at Alipurduar District Hospital

SNSU: 8 sick newborn stabilisation units set up in Birpara, Bhatipara, Falakata, Jashodanga, Kamakhyaguri, Panchkolguri, Uttar Lataguri and Madarihat

Adivasi employment: People from Adivasi communities employed in the district village eco-tourism project called Blue Home Stay (a network of homestays, the buildings being painted blue)

Kanyashree: More than 60,000 girls brought under the ambit of the Kanyashree Scheme

 

Food security

Khadya Sathi: As part of the scheme, 100% of the eligible population of Alipurduar (more than 15.8 lakh) being given foodgrains at Rs 2 per kg (or at half the market price)

 

Tea gardens

More than 12 lakh people reside in the approximately 280 tea gardens in the state. The State Government provides a wide range of services for them, like housing, drinking water supply, ration, health services, etc.

 

  • For the families of all tea garden workers in Alipurduar district, 35 kg foodgrains (15 kg rice and 20 kg wheat) is being provided every month at the rate of Rs 2 per kg
  • Ration shops in Dheklapara and Dalmore being successfully run by self-help groups
  • Drinking water projects completed in Dhumchipara, Garganda and Mujnai tea gardens in Madarihat block
  • 25 anganwadi centres set up in the tea gardens of the district

 

PWD and Transport

Projects completed: PWD Department has completed more than 60 projects like roads, bridges, etc. by investing about Rs 315 crore

Bridges: Bridges built over Basra and Bala rivers in Kalchini, and over Cheko and Nonai rivers on Alipurduar-Kumargram road

Roads: About 65% of the part of Asian Highway-48 connecting Bhutan and Bangladesh completed; about 330 km of roads built/renovated/widened, among which the important ones are Alipurduar-Kumargram road, Kumargram-Jorai road, Telepara-Timarighat road, Dalgaon-Gumtu road, Kalchini-Jaigaon road, Dhupguri-Falakata road and Rajabhatkhawa road

Bus terminals: Jaigaon Development Board has built in Jaigaon a modern bus terminus and a second entry gate to Bhutan; an international-standard bus terminus being built at a cost of Rs 28 crore in Alipurduar

Baitarani: As part of Baitarani Scheme, 8 burning ghats being renovated, 1 electric crematorium being built

আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলার উন্নয়ন- এক নজরে

রাজ্য ও অন্যান্য জেলার সাথে তাল মিলিয়ে অভূতপূর্ব উন্নয়ন ঘটেছে আলিপুরদুয়ার  জেলায়।

নতুন জেলা আলিপুরদুয়ার

সমগ্র উত্তরবঙ্গের মানুষের সুবিধার্থে উত্তরবঙ্গে আমরা আগেই স্থাপন করেছি রাজ্য সরকারের শাখা সচিবালয়- ‘উত্তরকন্যা’। এখানে অন্যান্য বিভাগের সাথে সাথে পেনশন, ভবিষ্যনিধি এবং গ্রুপ ইনস্যুরেন্স অধিকর্তার একটি শাখা কার্যালয়ও চালু হয়ে গেছে। এর দরুন সমগ্র উত্তরবঙ্গের মানুষজনকে আজ আর সরকারি কাজের জন্যে কলকাতায় ছূটে যেতে হয় না। সরকারি কাজ এবং পরিষেবা মানুষের কাছে আরও দ্রুততার সাথে পৌছে যাচ্ছে।

এর পাশাপাশি ২০১৪ সালের ২৫শে জুন, এই অঞ্চলের মানুষজনের দীর্ঘদিনের দাবিকে সম্মান জানিয়ে, জলপাইগুড়ি জেলাকে বিভক্ত করে, আলিপুরদুয়ারকে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের ২০তম জেলা হিসেবে ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। এর ফলে আলিপুরদুয়ারের মানুষের সরকারি এবং অন্যান্য কাজে প্রভূত সুবিধা হয়েছে।

সম্প্রতি আলিপুরদুয়ারে উদ্বোধন করা হয়েছে রাজ্যের প্রথম সুসংহত কার্যালয় ভবন- ‘ডুয়ার্সকন্যা’। প্রায় ৫০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে নির্মিত এই ভবনটিতে, একই ছাদের তলায় অবস্থান করছে জেলা প্রশাসনের সবকটি বিভাগীয় কার্যালয়, জেলা স্বাস্থ্য আধিকারিকের কার্যালয়, পুলিশ সুপারের কার্যালয় প্রভৃতি সহ প্রায় ৪০ টি দপ্তর। এর ফলে,জেলার মানুষের সরকারি এবং অন্যান্য কাজে প্রভূত সুবিধা হয়েছে। এটি শুধুমাত্র রাজ্যের নয়, সারা দেশের মডেল।

স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণ

  • এই জেলার ফালাকাটায় গড়ে উঠেছে একটি নতুন মাল্টি-সুপার স্পেশালিটি হাসপাতাল।
  • আলিপুরদুয়ার হাসপাতালে এবং বীরপাড়া স্টেট জেনারেল হাসপাতালে ২টি ন্যায্য মুল্যের ঔষধের দোকান চালু হয়ে গেছে। জেলার এই ন্যায্য মুল্যের ঔষধের দোকান থেকে ঔষধ কেনার ফলে ৮৫ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষ, ২ কোটি ৮৫ লক্ষ টাকারও বেশি ছাড় পেয়েছেন।
  • আলিপুরদুয়ার হাসপাতালে ৩টি ন্যায্য মুল্যের ডায়াগ্নস্টিক পরিষেবা চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • এই জেলায় ৮টি SNSU চালু হয়ে গেছে (বীরপাড়া, ভাটিবাড়ি, ফালাকাটা, যশোডাঙ্গা, কামাক্ষ্যাগুড়ি, পাঞ্চকেলগুড়ি, উত্তর লাটাগুড়ি ও মাদারিহাট)।
  • আলিপুরদুয়ার হাসপাতালে এবং বীরপাড়া স্টেট জেনারেল হাসপাতালে ২টি SNCU চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলা হাসপাতালে CCU/HDU, থ্যালাসেমিয়া কন্ট্রোল ইউনিট ও স্কিল্‌স ল্যাব চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • তপসিখাতাতে একটি ৫০-শয্যার আয়ুষ হাসপাতাল চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • ‘স্বাস্থ্যসাথী’ প্রকল্পে এই জেলায় প্রায় ৯১ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষ নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন।
  • ‘শিশুসাথী’ প্রকল্পে, এই জেলার ১৫৫-রও বেশি বাচ্চার সফল অস্ত্রোপচার করা হয়েছে।

 

শিক্ষা

  • আলিপুরদুয়ারে গড়ে তোলা হবে একটি নতুন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়।
  • এই জেলার, ফালাকাটা ও সোনাপুরে ২ টি নতুন সরকারি কলেজ গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।
  • কুমারগ্রাম ও কালাচিনিতে ২টি নতুন আই.টি.আই কলেজ নির্মান করা হয়েছে।
  • দমনপুরে নতুন পলিটেকনিক কলেজ গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।
  • ‘উৎকর্ষ বাংলা’ কর্মসুচিতে, জেলার ৮ হাজারেরও বেশি যুবক-যুবতীকে প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলায়, ১ লক্ষ ১৬ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্র-ছাত্রীকে ‘সবুজ সাথী’ প্রকল্পে সাইকেল প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • কালচিনি ও মাদারীহাটে ২ টি নতুন মডেল স্কুল নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে।
  • পাতলাখাওয়ায় একটি পি.টি.টি.আই কলেজের নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে।জেলায়, গত সাড়ে ছ-বছরে, প্রায় ২৫ টি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়কে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয় স্তরে উন্নীত করা হয়েছে।
  • সব স্কুলে মিড-ডে মিল চলছে, যার ফলে পুষ্টি এবং উপস্থিতির হার বেড়েছে এবং স্কুল-ছুট ছাত্র-ছাত্রীর সংখ্যা কমেছে।
  • প্রতিটি বিদ্যালয়ে ছেলে ও মেয়েদের জন্য পৃথক শৌচাগার নির্মিত হয়েছে।

 

ভূমি সংস্কার, কৃষি ও পশুপালন

  • জেলার প্রায় সাড়ে ৬ হাজারেরও বেশি যোগ্য ভূমিহীন পরিবারের হাতে ‘নিজ গৃহ নিজ ভূমি’ প্রকল্পে পাট্টা তুলে দেওয়া হয়েছে। এছাড়া, প্রায় সাড়ে ৩ হাজারেরও বেশি  কৃষি ও বনাধিকার পাট্টা প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলার, প্রায় ৭৬% কৃষক পরিবারকে কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ডের আওতাভুক্ত করা হয়েছে। বাকীদেরও খুব দ্রুত কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ড প্রদান করা হচ্ছে।
  • এই জেলার আলিপুরদুয়ার-১, আলিপুরদুয়ার-২, ফালাকাটা, কুমারগ্রাম, কালচিনি ও মাদারিহাট-বীরপাড়ায় ৬টি ‘কিষাণ মান্ডি’ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • ফালাকাটায় ব্লক-স্তরে মৎস্য পরীক্ষাগার ও প্রশিক্ষণ কেন্দ্র গড়ে তোলার ফলে প্রচুর মৎস্যজীবি এবং তাঁদের পরিবার উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • জেলায় প্রাণী সম্পদ উন্নয়ন দপ্তর, ৫ লক্ষ ১৫ হাজারেরও বেশি হাঁস ও মুরগীর বাচ্চা বিতরণ করেছে।

 

পঞ্চায়েত ও গ্রামোন্নয়ন

  • আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলায় ১০০-দিনের কাজে, ৬৬৫ কোটি টাকারও বেশি ব্যয় করে প্রায় ২ কোটি ৭৫ লক্ষ শ্রম দিবস সৃষ্টি হয়েছে।
  • জেলার প্রায় ২৮ হাজার মানুষ গ্রামীণ আবাসন যোজনায় উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • এই জেলার আরও প্রায় ৮ হাজার ২০০ জন উপভোক্তাকে বাড়ি তৈরির সহায়তা দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় গ্রামীণ সড়ক যোজনায় ১৬০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মিত হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলায় আরও প্রায় ৩৫০ কি.মি. রাস্তা নির্মাণ/সংস্কারের সূচনা করা হয়েছে।
  • ‘সমব্যাথী’ প্রকল্পে জেলার প্রায় ২ হাজার ৮৯০ জন উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • জেলায় ‘মিশন নির্মল বাংলা’ প্রকল্পে প্রায় ১ লক্ষ ৮০ হাজার শৌচালয় নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে- যা লক্ষ্যমাত্রার ১০০%।

 

সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়ন

  • গত সাড়ে ছ-বছরে, এই জেলায় প্রায় ৫৫ হাজার সংখ্যালঘু ছাত্র-ছাত্রীকে প্রায় ১৩ কোটি টাকার স্কলারশিপ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • এছাড়া, স্বনির্ভরতার জন্য সংখ্যালঘু যুবক-যুবতীদের, প্রায় ৭ কোটি টাকা ঋণ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • IMDP ও MSDP-তে, প্রায় ১৮ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় করে সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের উন্নয়নে বিভিন্ন প্রকল্প রূপায়িত করা হয়েছে।
  • এই দুটি প্রকল্পে, জেলায় ৩৫০টিরও বেশি হেল্‌থ সাব-সেন্টার, অতিরিক্ত শ্রেণী কক্ষ, অঙ্গনওয়ারী কেন্দ্র, বাসগৃহ ইত্যাদি গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলায় ১টি ‘কর্মতীর্থ’ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

অনগ্রসর কল্যাণ ও আদিবাসী উন্নয়ন

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, এই জেলায় ২ লক্ষ ৪৪ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্র-ছাত্রী ‘শিক্ষাশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে সহায়তা পেয়েছে।
  • আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ৮০ হাজারেরও বেশি SC/ST/OBC Certificate প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • তরাই-ডুয়ার্স অঞ্চলের গোর্খা ও আদিবাসী মানুষের উন্নয়নের জন্য ২টি পূর্ণ বোর্ড গঠন করা হয়েছে।
  • জেলার বনাঞ্চলে ভিলেজ ইকো-ট্যুরিজ্‌ম প্রকল্প- ‘ব্লু হোম স্টে’(Blue Home Stay)তে আদিবাসী সম্প্রদায়ের কর্মসংস্থান করা হচ্ছে।

 

নারী ও শিশু এবং সমাজকল্যাণ

নবগঠিত আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলায়, ৬০-হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্রী ‘কন্যাশ্রী’র আওতায় এসেছে।

 

খাদ্য সুরক্ষা কর্মসুচী- খাদ্য সাথী প্রকল্প

এই জেলার ১০০% যোগ্য মানুষকে (প্রায় ১৫ লক্ষ ৮০ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষকে), ২/- টাকা কেজি দরে খাদ্যশস্য দেওয়া হচ্ছে- যা জেলার মোট জনসংখ্যার প্রায় ১০০%।

 

চা বাগান

রাজ্যের প্রায় ২৮০ টি চা বাগানে ১২ লক্ষেরও বেশি মানুষ বসবাস করেন। বর্তমান সরকার এই সমস্ত অঞ্চলে আবাসন, প্লানীয় জল সরবরাহ, রেশন, চিকিৎসা ও স্বাস্থ্য ব্যবস্থা প্রভৃতি সহ একাধিক ক্ষেত্রে পরিষেবা প্রদান করে চলেছে।

 

আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলা

  • এই জেলার বন্ধ হয়ে যাওয়া বান্দাপানি, ঢেকলাপাড়া, মধু ইত্যাদি চা বাগানগুলির কর্মচ্যুত পরিবারগুলির পাশে দাঁড়ানোর উদ্দ্যেশ্যে বর্তমান রাজ্য সরকার একগুচ্ছ কল্যানকামী পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করেছে-
  • খাদ্য সুরক্ষা কর্মসুচীতে চা বাগানের প্রতিটি পরিবারের জন্য সরকার প্রতি মাসে ২ টাকা কেজি দরে ৩৫ কেজি খাদ্যশস্য (১৫ কেজি চাল ও ২০ কেজি আটা)প্রদান করছে।
  • ঢেকলাপাড়া বন্ধ চা বাগান ও দলমোর চা বাগানে রেশন দোকান স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীর মাধ্যমে সুফলভাবে চলছে।
  • মাদারিহাট ব্লকের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ধুমচিপাড়া, গারগান্ডা ও মুজনাই চা বাগানের পানীয় জল প্রকল্পের কাজ শেষ হয়েছে।
  • এই সমস্ত চা বাঙ্গানগুলিতে প্রায় ২৫ হাজার শিশু সহায়ক অঙ্গনওয়াড়ি কেন্দ্র নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে।

 

শিল্প

জেলায় ক্ষুদ্র, ছোট ও মাঝারি উদ্যোগের ৪টি ক্লাস্টার গড়ে উঠেছে।

 

পূর্ত ও পরিবহন

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, এই জেলায় পূর্ত দপ্তর ৭৫ টিরও বেশি রাস্তাঘাট, ব্রীজ ইত্যাদি প্রকল্প রূপায়ণের কাজ হাতে নিয়েছে, যার মধ্যে ৬০ টিরও বেশি প্রকল্পের কাজ প্রায় ৩১৫ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ইতিমধ্যেই সমাপ্ত হয়েছে। এর ফলে, প্রচুর মানুষ উপকৃত হবেন। বাকি প্রকল্পের কাজ খুব শীঘ্রই সমাপ্ত হবে।
  • কালচিনিতে বাসরা ও বালা নদীর ওপর সেতু গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • আলিপুরদুয়ার-কুমারগ্রাম রাস্তায় চেকো ও নোনাই নদীর ওপর সেতু গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলার মধ্যে অবস্থিত ভূটান-বাংলাদেশ সংযোগকারী এশিয়ান হাইওয়ে- ৪৮ (Asian Highway-48) অংশের কাজ প্রায় ৬৫% হয়ে গেছে।
  • জেলার সড়ক ব্যবস্থা উন্নয়নে বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হচ্ছে। জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, প্রায় ৩৩০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মাণ/পুর্ননির্মাণ/সম্প্রসারণ ও উন্নতিকরণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
  • ‘বৈতরনী’ প্রকল্পে, ৮ টি শ্মশান ঘাটের উন্নয়ন সহ ১টি বিদ্যুতের চুল্লি বসানোর কাজ চলছে।
  • জয়গাঁ উন্নয়ন পর্ষদ, কালচিনির জয়গাঁয় একটি আধুনিক বাস টার্মিনাস ও দ্বিতীয় ভূটান প্রবেশ দ্বার গড়ে তুলেছে।
  • আলিপুরদুয়ারে ২৮ কোটি টাকায় একটি আধুনিক বাস টার্মিনাস গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।
  • এই জেলার প্রায় ১৩০ জন যুবক-যুবতী গাড়ি কেনার ঋণ পেয়ে আত্মনির্ভর হয়েছেন।
  • হাতে নেওয়া হয়েছে Safe Drive Save Life এবং Slow Drive Save Life কর্মসূচি। ফলে, উল্লেখযোগ্য ভাবে কমেছে দুর্ঘটনা এবং হতাহতের সংখ্যা।

 

বিদ্যুৎ ও অচিরাচরিত শক্তি

  • সমগ্র আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলায় ‘সবার ঘরে আলো’ প্রকল্পে ১০০% গ্রামীণ বৈদ্যুতিকরণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
  • দমনপুরে নতুন ৩৩/১১ কেভি বিদ্যুৎ সাব-স্টেশন তৈরি হয়েছে।
  • শামুকতলায় নতুন ৩৩/১১ কেভি বিদ্যুৎ সাব-স্টেশন তৈরির কাজ চলছে।

 

সেচ

  • আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলার প্রায় ১০০ কিমি দৈর্ঘের বাঁধ সংরক্ষণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
  • শামুকতলায় গদাধর নদীর পার সংরক্ষণ করা হয়েছে।

 

জনস্বাস্থ্য কারিগরী

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ২৯টি জলপ্রকল্পের কাজ শুরু হয়েছে, এর মধ্যে প্রায় ৭০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ১৭টির কাজ সমাপ্ত হয়েছে। এর ফলে, জেলার প্রচুর মানুষ উপকৃত হচ্ছেন।বাকী জলপ্রকল্পগুলির কাজ শীঘ্রই সমাপ্ত হবে।
  • আলিপুরদুয়ার ২নং ব্লকের অন্তর্গত লোকনাথপুর ও যশোডাঙ্গা পানীয় জল সরবরাহের কাজ শেষ হয়েছে।
  • কালচিনি ব্লকের অন্তর্গত জয়ন্তী নদীর জলকে কাজে লাগিয়ে জয়ন্তী বনবস্তির দুই দশকের পানীয় জল সমস্যা নিরসণ করা গেছে।
  • ফালাকাটা ব্লকের অন্তর্গত ছোটোশালকুমার মৌজায় পানীয় জল সরবরাহের প্রকল্পের জলাধার নির্মাণের কাজ শেষ হয়েছে।
  • মাদারিহাট ব্লকের অন্তর্গত টোটোপাড়াতে অনগ্রসর কল্যাণ দপ্তরের অর্থানুকুল্যে প্রায় ৬০০ ফুট গভীর নলকুপ বসানোর কাজ শেষ হয়েছে।
  • মাদারিহাট ব্লকের অন্তর্গত মাকড়াপাড়া জলসরবরাহ প্রকল্পে ৬৩০ ফুট গভীর নলকুপ বসানোর কাজ শেষ হয়েছে।

 

বন ও পর্যটন

  • ‘সবুজশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে, ৯ হাজাররেও বেশি সদ্যোজাত শিশুকে মুল্যবান গাছের চারা দেওয়া হয়েছে। ১৮ বছর উত্তীর্ণ হলে, গাছ বিক্রির টাকায় শিশুটির পড়াশুনা, বিয়ে ইত্যাদির খরচ মেটানো যাবে।
  • Dooars Mega Tourism Project-এর অন্তর্গত প্রায় ৫ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে জলদাপাড়া ট্যুরিস্ট লজ, রত্নেশ্বর ঝীল, বাকলা, শিকিয়াঝোরা এবং হাসিমারা এই প্রকল্পগুলির প্রথম পর্যায়ের কাজ শেষ হয়েছে।

 

শ্রম

  • এই জেলায় ‘সামাজিক সুরক্ষা যোজনা’য়, প্রায় ১ লক্ষ ৩০ হাজার জন অসংঘটিত ক্ষেত্রের শ্রমিকরা নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন। এখনো পর্যন্ত, প্রায় ৪০ হাজার উপভোক্তা ১৪ কোটি টাকারও বেশি সহায়তা পেয়েছেন।
  • ‘যুবশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে, এই জেলায় প্রায় ১৬০০ যুবক-যুবতী উৎসাহ ভাতা পাচ্ছেন।

 

স্বনির্ভর দল ও স্বনিযুক্তি কর্মসূচী

  • ‘আনন্দধারা’ প্রকল্পে, প্রায় ১৪ হাজার স্বনির্ভর দল গঠিত হয়েছে।
  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ‘স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ স্বনির্ভর কর্মসূচী’ প্রকল্পে, প্রায় ২৮০০ উদ্যোগকে অনুমোদন দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং প্রায় ২৪ কোটি টাকা অনুদান প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • আলিপুরদুয়ার-১, কালচিনি, মাদারিহাট ও ফালাকাটা ব্লকে ৪টি ‘কর্মতীর্থ’ গড়ে উঠেছে।

 

তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতি

এই জেলায় ৩ হাজারেরও বেশি লোকশিল্পী, ‘লোকপ্রসার প্রকল্পে’ বহাল ভাতা এবং পেনশন পাচ্ছেন।

 

আবাসন

  • আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলায় আর্থিক ভাবে দুর্বল মানুষদের জন্যে গীতাঞ্জলী ও অন্যান্য প্রকল্পে প্রায় ৫ হাজার মানুষ উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • ভ্রমনার্থীদের সুবিধা এবং স্থানীয় মানুষদের কর্মসংস্থানের জন্য মাদারহাটে ১টি ‘পথসাথী’ মোটেল গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

ক্রীড়া ও যুব কল্যাণ

  • ক্রীড়ার মান উন্নয়নে জেলায় ১৩০টিরও বেশি ক্লাবকে ৩ কোটি টাকারও বেশি অর্থ সাহাজ্য করা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় প্রায় ১২ টি মাল্টিজিম ও ৩টি মিনি ইন্ডোর স্টেডিয়াম, প্রায় ১ কোটি  টাকায় গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • আলিপুরদুয়ার সহ উত্তরবঙ্গের ৮টি জেলা জুড়ে নিয়মিত পালিত হচ্ছে উত্তরবঙ্গ উৎসব।

 

উত্তরবঙ্গ উন্নয়ন

জেলায় উত্তরবঙ্গ উন্নয়ন দপ্তর বিভিন্ন উন্নউওনমূলক কাজের রূপায়ণ করেছে।

এর মধ্যে অন্যতম হোল-

-আলিপুরদুয়ার ইন্ডোর স্টেডিয়াম

– অন্দু বস্তি মোড় থেকে দক্ষিণ মেন্দাবাড়ি মোড় রাস্তা

Over the last six-and-a-half years, the Trinamool Congress Government has undertaken large-scale developmental activities in Cooch Behar.

Tabulated below are the important developments:

 

Historic handing over of Chitmahal villages

As a result of the agreement signed by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on June 6, 2015 in Bangladesh, villages in India belonging to Bangladesh and vice versa along the border in Cooch Behar district were exchanged between the two countries. These scattered villages comprised a region called Chitmahal. Thus, villages on the Indian side became a part of India and on the Bangladeshi side became a part of that country. The exchange took place on the midnight of July 31 of that year. This was a long-standing demand of the people, and Mamata Banerjee fulfilled that demand.

Essential services rendered: For the 15,786 people who became citizens of India, the State Government made special arrangements. Temporary camps were opened in Mekhliganj, Haldibari and Dinhata. All government benefits have been extended to them, like food under Khadya Sathi Scheme, health, drinking water and irrigation facilities, power, job cards for enabling enrolment under the 100 Days’ Work Scheme, land survey, etc.

 

Uttrakanya

For people to better access the government for its services, the government set up a secretariat for the districts of north Bengal – Uttarkanya. Besides offices of the State Government, the secretariat also houses officials of pension, provident fund and group insurance. As a result of the opening of Uttarkanya, people of the region no longer have to run to Kolkata for accessing most government services.

 

Health and Family Welfare

Medical college: Medical college being set up in Cooch Behar

Fair-price medicine shops: 6 set up – in Cooch Behar (MJN Sadar Hospital), Dinhata, Mathabhanga, Tufanganj, Sitai and Mekhliganj; buying from these fair-price shops has resulted in more than 3.7 lakh people getting discounts of more than Rs 8.28 crore

Fair-price diagnostic centres: 2 set up at MJN Sadar Hospital in Cooch Behar

SNSU: 12 sick newborn stabilisation units set up in Dinhata, Mathabhanga, Tufanganj, Haldibari, Dewanhat, Pundibari, Baxhirhat, Bamanhat, Sitai, Ghoksadanga, Sitalkuchi and Changrabandha

SNCU: 4 sick newborn care units set up in Cooch Behar (MJN Sadar Hospital), Mathabhanga, Dinhata and Tufanganj (Tufanganj Subdivisional Hospital)

CCU/HDU: 3 critical care units and high-dependency units set up in Cooch Behar (MJN Sadar Hospital), Mathabhanga and Dinhata

MCH: Mother and Child Hub being set up in Cooch Behar (MJN Sadar Hospital); Skills Lab already set up

Swasthya Sathi: More than 1.96 lakh people enrolled

Sishu Sathi: More than 180 children successfully operated on

 

Education

University: Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University set up

College: Cooch Behar Government Engineering College built in Harinchaora; government college built in Ghoksadanga

ITI: 3 set up in Dinhata, Mathabhanga-2 and Mekhliganj blocks; another being set up in Sitalkuchi

Polytechnic colleges: 1 set up in Tufanganj; another being set up in Mathabhanga

Utkarsh Bangla: More than 23,800 youths being given skills training

Sabooj Sathi: About 2.42 lakh school children given bicycles

Model schools: 1 set up in Sitalkuchi; another being set up in Sitai

Upgrading of schools: About 45 Madhyamik schools upgraded to Higher Secondary

Mid-Day Meals: Mid-day meals being given in all schools, which has markedly improved attendance

Toilets: Separate toilets for boys and girls built in all schools

 

Land Reforms, Agriculture and Animal Resources Development

Nijo Griha Nijo Bhumi: More than 9,000 landless families handed over patta, and about 1,500 agricultural and forest land patta handed over

Kisan Credit Cards: About 88% of eligible farmer families given KCCs

Kisan Mandi: 8 set up in Dinhata-1, Sitai, Mathabhanga-1, Mathabhanga-2, Mekhliganj, Haldibari, Tufanganj-1 and Sitalkuchi blocks

Hatchlings distributed: More than 10.1 lakh chicken and duck hatchlings distributed for rearing

 

Panchayats and Rural Development

MGNREGS (100 Days’ Work Scheme): About 7.32 crore person-days created at an expenditure of more than Rs 1,600 crore

Rural housing: About 1.2 lakh people benefitted; on January 29, 2018, it was announced that 3,060 more people would be distributed houses under various schemes

Rural roads: About 540 km roads built under Grameen Sadak Yojana; on February 13, 2018, it was announced that 320 km more is being built/renovated

Samabyathi: About 5,700 people benefitted from this scheme

ODF: Cooch Behar has been declared a ‘Nirmal Zila’, that is, open defecation-free (ODF); about 4.3 lakh toilets built, which is 100% of the target

 

Minorities’ Development

Scholarships: About 5.25 lakh students from minority communities given scholarships worth about Rs 124 crore

Swami Vivekananda Swanirbhar Karmasuchi Prakalpa: Youths given loans worth about Rs 40 crore

MSDP: About Rs 134 crore spent for various schemes under Multi-sectoral Development Programme – more than 3,930 health sub-centres, additional classrooms, anganwadi centres, houses, etc.

Karmatirtha: 5 Karmatirthas built to increase employment of local people – in Sitalkuchi, Mathabhanga-1, Mathabhanga-2, Tufanganj-1 and Cooch Behar-1 blocks

 

Backward Classes Welfare Department

Shikshashree: More than 3.25 lakh students have received scholarships under the scheme

SC/ST/OBC certificates: More than 2.75 lakh people handed over SC/ST/OBC certificates

Recognition of languages: Rajbanshi and Kamtapuri given the recognition of official state languages

Developmenr board: Rajbanshi Development and Cultural Board and Rajbanshi Bhasha Academy formed

 

Women and Child Development and Social Welfare

Kanyashree: More than 1.82 lakh girls brought under the ambit of the Kanyashree Scheme

Food security

Khadya Sathi: As part of the scheme, 100% of the eligible population of Cooch Behar (about 26.63 lakh) being given foodgrains at Rs 2 per kg (or at half the market price)

 

PWD and Transport

Projects completed: PWD Department has completed more than 125 projects like roads, bridges, etc. by investing about Rs 1,940 crore

Bridges: Joyee Beridge being built over Teesta to connect Haldibari and Mekhliganj, Bhawaiya Bridge built to connect the town of Dinhata with Tufanganj-1 block

Roads: 65% of the part of Asian Highway48 connecting Bhutan and Bangladesh completed; about 960 km of roads built/renovated/widened, the important ones being Changrabandha-Mathabhanga-Cooch Behar road, Sitalkuchi-Gosanimari road, Tufanganj-Kamakhyaguri road, Tufanganj-Balabhoot road, Dinhata-Gitalda road, Atiyabari-Fakirtakiya-Kurshahat road, Bamanhat-Chaudhurihat road, and renovation of NH-31

Baitarani: As part of Baitarani Scheme, 30 burning ghats being renovated, 1 electric crematorium being built

Gatidhara: Through Gatidhara Scheme, about 560 youths managed to buy vehicles for commercial use

Traffic awareness programmes: Safe Drive Save Life and Slow Drive Save Life traffic awareness programmes have reduced accidents by a significant number

 

Power – Non-renewable and Renewable Energy

Sabar Ghare Alo: Through implementation of Sabar Ghare Alo Scheme, about 100% rural electrification achieved

 

Irrigation

Dams repaired: About 160 km of dams repaired

 

Public Health Engineering

Projects completed: Public Health Engineering Department has completed 60 projects at a cost of about Rs 200 crore

 

Forest and Tourism

Sabujshree: Saplings given to more than 52,000 newborns (as per the scheme, after crossing 18 years of age, the tree will be sold and the student’s education funded out of that money)

Tourism: Eco-tourism project and picnic spot built around Damdama Lake in Bhogrampur in Mathabhanga-1 block; bird zone created in Rashikbil Mini Zoo; picnic spot and children’s park built in Ambari; renovation and beautification of Baneswar Temple and Bairagi Dighi

 

Labour

Samajik Suraksha Yojana: 2.79 lakh workers from the unorganised sector documented – of these, about 78,000 lakh beneficiaries have received benefits to the tune of more than Rs 32 crore

Yuvashree: About 5,000 youths given allowances under this scheme

 

Self-Help Group and Self-Employment

Anandadhara: About 35,000 self-help groups (SHG) set up; taking together expert committee members under Anandadhara for sitalpati, dhari, jute products, dry foods, etc., working groups formed, which have signed agreements with CII, FICCI, CINI, SIT, etc. to enable the SHGs to sell their products

Swami Vivekananda Swanirbhar Karmasuchi Prakalpa: About 11,000 ventures approved, for which a total grant of about Rs 60 crore given

 

Information and Culture

Lokprasar Prakalpa: More than 18,000 folk artistes getting retainer fee and pension

 

Housing

For the economically disadvantaged: About 12,000 people benefitted as part of Gitanjali and other schemes

Pathasathi: 1 Pathasathi motel set up for travellers (also resulting in employment for local people) in Jamaldaha

 

Youth Affairs and Sports

Funds for clubs: More than 239 clubs given more than Rs 6 crore for promoting sports

Sporting infrastructure: 85 multi-gyms and 15 mini-indoor stadiums built at a cost of Rs 5 crore approximately; first phase of work for renovation of Rajbati Stadium and basketball court started; Uttarbanga Utsav regularly celebrated in 8 districts of north Bengal, including Cooch Behar; Cooch Behar Sports Tournament being held annually

কোচবিহার জেলার উন্নয়ন – এক নজরে

রাজ্য ও অন্যান্য জেলার সঙ্গে তাল মিলিয়ে অভূতপূর্ব উন্নয়ন ঘটেছে কোচবিহার জেলায়।

ঐতিহাসিক ছিটমহল হস্তান্তরঃ

২০১৫ সালের জুন মাসের ৬ তারিখে মাননীয়া মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর বাংলাদেশ সফরের সময় যে ভারত-বাংলাদেশ চুক্তি স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছিল, তারই ফলশ্রুতি স্বরূপ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে বহু-কাঙ্খিত ভারত-বাংলাদেশ ছিটমহল হস্তান্তর। ২০১৫ সালের ৩১শে জুলাই মধ্যরাতে, ভারতে এসেছে ৭১১০ একরের ৫১টি ছিটমহল, যা যুক্ত হয়েছে কোচবিহার জেলায়, আর বিনিময়ে বাংলাদেশ পেয়েছে ১৭১৬০ একরের ১১১টি ছিটমহল। স্থাপিত হয়েছে ভারত-বাংলাদেশ দুই দেশের মধ্যে এক অবিচ্ছেদ্য মৈত্রীর বন্ধন। এরই ফলশ্রুতিতে, ১৫,৭৮৬ জনসংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে কোচবিহার জেলায়।

পূর্বতন ছিটমহলগুলির এই সব মানুষের পুনর্বাসনের জন্য মেখলীগঞ্জ, হলদিবাড়ি ও  দিনহাটায় অস্থায়ী ক্যাম্প স্থাপন সহ ‘খাদ্যসাথী’, চিকিৎসা ব্যবস্থা, পানীয় ও সেচের জলের সরবরাহ, বিদ্যুৎ সংযোগ, ১০০ দিনের কাজে জব-কার্ড, জমি জরিপ ইত্যাদি বিভিন্ন পরিষেবামূলক পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে।

‘উত্তরকন্যা’

সমগ্র উত্তরবঙ্গের মানুষের সুবিধার্থে উত্তরবঙ্গে আমরা আগেই স্থাপন করেছি রাজ্য সরকারের শাখা সচিবালয় – ‘উত্তরকন্যা’। এখানে অন্যান্য বিভাগের সাথে সাথে পেনশন, ভবিষ্যনিধি এবং গ্রুপ ইনস্যুরেন্স অধিকর্তার একটি শাখা কার্যালয়ও চালু হয়ে গেছে। এর দরুন সমগ্র উত্তরবঙ্গের মানুষজনকে আজ আর সরকারি কাজের জন্য কোলকাতায় ছুটে যেতে হয় না। সরকারি কাজ ও পরিষেবা মানুষের কাছে আরও দ্রুততার সাথে পৌঁছে যাচ্ছে।

 

স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণঃ

• কোচবিহারে গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে ১টি নতুন মেডিকেল কলেজ।
• MJN সদর, দিনহাটা, মাথাভাঙ্গা, তুফানগঞ্জ, সিতাই ও মেখলীগঞ্জ মহকুমা হাসপাতালে ৬টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ঔষধের দোকান চালু হয়ে গেছে। জেলার এই সকল ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান থেকে ওষুধ কেনার ফলে, ৩ লক্ষ ৭০ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষ, ৮ কোটি ২৮ লক্ষ টাকারও বেশি ছাড় পেয়েছেন।
• MJN সদর হাসপাতালে ২টি ডায়াগনস্টিক পরিষেবা চালু হয়ে গেছে।
• এই জেলায় ১২টি SNSU চালু হয়ে গেছে (দিনহাটা, মাথাভাঙ্গা, তুফানগঞ্জ, হলদিবাড়ি, দেওয়ানহাট, পুন্ডিবাড়ি, বক্সীরহাট, বামনহাট, সিতাই, ঘোক্সাডাঙ্গা, শীতলকুচী ও চ্যাংড়াবাঁধা)।
• MJN সদর, মাথাভাঙ্গা, দিনহাটা ও তুফানগঞ্জ মহকুমা হাসপাতালে ৪টি SNCU চালু হয়ে গেছে।
• MJN সদর, মাথাভাঙ্গা, দিনহাটা হাসপাতালে ৩টি CCU/HDU চালু হয়ে গেছে।
• MJN সদর হাসপাতালে চালু হয়েছে স্কিলস ল্যাব, গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে Mother & Child Hub।
• দিনহাটা ও মাথাভাঙ্গা হাসপাতালে গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে ২টি ব্লাড ব্যাঙ্ক।
• ‘স্বাস্থ্য সাথী’ প্রকল্পে এই জেলায় প্রায় ১ লক্ষ ৯৬ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষ নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন।
• ‘শিশু সাথী’ প্রকল্পে এই জেলার ১৮০টিরও বেশি বাচ্চার সফল অস্ত্রোপচার করা হয়েছে

শিক্ষাঃ

• এই জেলায় গড়া হয়েছে নতুন কোচবিহার পঞ্চানন বর্মা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়।
• হরিণচাওড়ায় নতুন কোচবিহার ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কলেজ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
• ঘোক্সাদাঙ্গায় ১টি নতুন সরকারি কলেজ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
• দেওয়ানহাট ও বক্সীগঞ্জ কলেজ উন্নীতকরণের কাজ সমাপ্ত হয়েছে।
• দিনহাতা, মাথাভাঙ্গা-২ ও মেখলিগঞ্জে ৩টি নতুন আইটিআই কলেজ নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। শীতলকুচীতে আরও ১টি আইটিআই কলেজ গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।
• তুফানগঞ্জে ১টি নতুন পলিটেকনিক কলেজ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে। মাথাভাঙ্গায় আরও ১টি পলিটেকনিক কলেজ গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।
• ‘উৎকর্ষ বাংলা’ কর্মসূচিতে, জেলার ২৩ হাজারেরও বেশি যুবক যুবতীকে প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
• এই জেলায়, ২ লক্ষ ৪২ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্রছাত্রীকে ‘সবুজসাথী’ প্রকল্পে সাইকেল প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
• শীতলকুচীতে ১টি নতুন মডেল স্কুল গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে। সিতাইয়ে আরও ১টি মডেল স্কুল গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
• জেলায় গত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে ৪৫টি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়কে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয় স্তরে উন্নীত করা হয়েছে।
• সব স্কুলে মিড ডে মিল চলছে, যার ফলে পুষ্টি ও উপস্থিতির হার বেড়েছে এবং স্কুল-ছুট ছাত্রছাত্রীদের সংখ্যা কমেছে।
• প্রতিটি বিদ্যালয়ে ছেলে ও মেয়েদের জন্য পৃথক শৌচাগার নির্মিত হয়েছে।

ভূমি সংস্কার, কৃষি ও পশুপালনঃ

• জেলার ৯ হাজারেরও বেশী যোগ্য ভূমিহীন পরিবারের হাতে ‘নিজ গৃহ নিজ ভূমি’ প্রকল্পে পাট্টা তুলে দেওয়া হয়েছে। এছাড়া, ১৫০০রও বেশী কৃষি ও বনাধিকার পাট্টা প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
• এই জেলায় প্রায় ৮৮% কৃষক পরিবারকে কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ডের আওতাভুক্ত করা হয়েছে। বাকিদেরও খুব দ্রুত কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ড প্রদান করা হচ্ছে।
•  এই জেলার দিনহাটা-১, সিতাই, মাথাভাঙ্গা-১, মাথাভাঙ্গা-২, মেখলীগঞ্জ, হলদিবাড়ি, তুফানগঞ্জ-১ ও শীতলকুচীতে ৮টি ‘কিষাণ মান্ডি’ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
• জেলায় প্রাণী সম্পদ উন্নয়ন দপ্তর, ১০ লক্ষ ১০ হাজারেরও বেশি হাঁস ও মুরগীর বাচ্চা বিতরণ করেছে।

পঞ্চায়েত ও গ্রামোন্নয়নঃ

• এই জেলায় ১০০ দিনের কাজে, ১৬০০ কোটি টাকারও বেশি ব্যয় করে প্রায় ৭ কোটি ৩২ লক্ষ শ্রম দিবস সৃষ্টি হয়েছে।
• জেলার প্রায় ১ লক্ষ ২০ হাজার মানুষ গ্রামীণ আবাসন যোজনায় উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
• এই জেলার আরও প্রায় ৩ হাজার ৬০ জন উপভোক্তাকে বাড়ি তৈরির সহায়তা দেওয়া হয়েছে।
• জেলায় গ্রামীণ সড়ক যোজনায় প্রায় ৫৪০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মিত হয়েছে।
• জেলায় গ্রামীণ সড়ক যোজনায় প্রায় ৩২০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মাণ/সংস্কারের সূচনা করা হয়েছে।
• ‘সমব্যাথী’ প্রকল্পে জেলার প্রায় ৫ হাজার ৭০০ জন উপকৃত হয়েছে।
• জেলায় ‘মিশন নির্মল বাংলা’ প্রকল্পে, প্রায় ৩০ হাজার শৌচালয় নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে – যা লক্ষ্যমাত্রার ১০০%।

সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়নঃ

• বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, এই জেলার প্রায় ৫ লক্ষ ২৫ হাজার সংখ্যালঘু ছাত্রছাত্রীকে, প্রায় ১২৪ কোটি টাকা স্কলারশিপ দেওয়া হয়েছে।এছাড়া, স্বনির্ভরতার জন্য সংখ্যালঘু যুবক-যুবতীদের, প্রায় ৪০ কোটি টাকা ঋণ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
• MSDP-তে, প্রায় ১৩৪ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় করে সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের উন্নয়নে বিভিন্ন প্রকল্প রূপায়িত করা হয়েছে।
• এই প্রকল্পে জেলায় ৩ হাজার ৯৩০টিরও বেশি হেলথ সাব-সেন্টার, অতিরিক্ত শ্রেণী কক্ষ, অঙ্গনওয়ারী কেন্দ্র, বাসগৃহ ইত্যাদি গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
• এই জেলায় ৫ টি ‘কর্মতীর্থ’ গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে (শীতলকুচী, মাথাভাঙ্গা-১, মাথাভাঙ্গা-২, তুফানগঞ্জ-১ ও কোচবিহার-১)।

অনগ্রসর কল্যাণ ও আদিবাসী উন্নয়নঃ

• বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, এই জেলায় ৩ লক্ষ  ২৫ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্র-ছাত্রী ‘শিক্ষাশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে সহায়তা পেয়েছে।
• জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ২ লক্ষ ৭৫ হাজারেরও বেশি SC/ST/OBC Certificate প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
• রাজবংশী ও কামতাপুরীকে সরকারি ভাষার স্বীকৃতি দেওয়ার হয়েছে।
• রাজবংশী ভাষা আকাদেমি গঠনের পাশাপাশি রাজবংশী সাংস্কৃতিক উন্নয়ন বোর্ড গঠনের সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে।

নারী ও শিশু উন্নয়ন এবং সমাজকল্যাণঃ

• এই জেলায়, ১ লক্ষ ৮২ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্রী ‘কন্যাশ্রী’র আওতায় এসেছে।

খাদ্য সুরক্ষা কর্মসূচী-‘খাদ্য সাথী’ প্রকল্পঃ

• এই জেলায় ১০০% যোগ্য মানুষকে (প্রায় ২৬ লক্ষ ৬৩ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষকে), ২/- টাকা কেজি দরে (অথবা বাজার দরের অর্ধেক দামে)খাদ্যশস্য দেওয়া হচ্ছে- যা জেলার জনসংখ্যার প্রায় ৯৪%।

শিল্পঃ

• জেলায় ২টি Industrial Growth Centre তৈরী করা হয়েছে (কোচবিহার ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল গ্রোথ সেন্টার – প্রথম ও দ্বিতীয় পর্যায়)।
• কোচবিহার জেলা শিল্প কেন্দ্রে Jute Park গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
• জেলায় ক্ষুদ্র, ছোট ও মাঝারি উদ্যোগের ১২টি ক্লাস্টার গড়ে উঠেছে। এগুলির মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য হল-
• কোচবিহার ও দিনহাটায় ২টি স্টিলের আসবাব তৈরীর ক্লাস্টার
• তুফানগঞ্জ, ভোগরামগুড়ি, বাইশগুড়ি ও ঘুঘুমারিতে ৪টি শীতলপাটি তৈরীর ক্লাস্টার,
• দিনহাটা-১, কোচবিহার-২ ও তুফানগঞ্জে ৩টি হ্যান্ডলুম ক্লাস্টার প্রভৃতি।
• ক্ষুদ্র শিল্পের ক্ষেত্রে এই জেলায় ২৬৪০ কোটি টাকারও বেশি ব্যাঙ্ক ঋণ প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

পূর্ত ও পরিবহনঃ

• বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, এই জেলার পূর্ত দপ্তর ২৭০টির বেশি রাস্তাঘাট, ব্রীজ ইত্যাদি প্রকল্প রূপায়ণের কাজ হাতে নিয়েছে, যার মধ্যে ২১৫ টিরও বেশী প্রকল্পের কাজ প্রায় ১৯৪০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ইতিমধ্যেই সমাপ্ত হয়েছে। এর ফলে, প্রচুর মানুষ উপকৃত হয়েছেন। বাকী প্রকল্পের কাজ খুব শীঘ্রই সমাপ্ত হবে।
• হলদিবাড়ি ও মেখলীগঞ্জের মধ্যে তিস্তা নদীর ওপর ‘জয়ী’ সেতু গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
• দিনহাটা ও তুফানগঞ্জ-১ ব্লকের মধ্যে কালজানী নদীর ওপর ‘ভাওয়াইয়া’ সেতু গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
• জেলার মধ্যে অবস্থিত ভূটান-বাংলাদেশ সংযোগকারী এশিয়ান হাইওয়ে-৪৮ অংশের কাজ প্ত্রায় ৬৫% হয়ে গেছে।
• জেলার সড়ক ব্যবস্থা উন্নয়নে বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছে। জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, প্রায় ৯৬০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মাণ/পুননির্মান/সম্প্রসারন ও উন্নীতকরণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
এর মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য হলঃ
• চ্যাংড়াবাঁধা-মাথাভাঙ্গা-কোচবি হার রাস্তা,
• শীতলকুচি-গোঁসাইমারি রাস্তা,
• তুফানগঞ্জ-কামাক্ষাগুড়ি রাস্তা
• তুফানগঞ্জ-বালাভূত রাস্তা
• দিনহাটা-গীতালদা রাস্তা
• আটিয়াবাড়ি-ফকীরটিকিয়া-কুড়শাহাট রাস্তা
• বামনহাট-চৌধুরীহাট রাস্তা
• NH-31 রাস্তা সংস্কার ইত্যাদি।
• বৈতরণী প্রকল্পে, ৩০টি শ্মশান-ঘাটের উন্নয়ন সহ ১টি বিদ্যুতের চুল্লি বসানোর কাজ চলছে।
• এই জেলার প্রায় ৫৬০ জন যুবক-যুবতী গাড়ি কেনার ঋণ পেয়ে আত্মনির্ভর হয়েছেন।
হাতে নেওয়া হয়েছে, Safe Drive Save Life এবং Slow Drive Save Life কর্মসূচী। ফলে, উল্লেখযোগ্য ভাবে কমেছে দুর্ঘটনা এবং হতাহতের সংখ্যা।

বিদ্যুৎ ও অচিরাচরিত শক্তিঃ

• সমগ্র জেলায় ‘সবার ঘরে আলো’ প্রকল্পে, ১০০% গ্রামীণ বৈদ্যুতিকরণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

 

সেচঃ

• জেলার প্রায় ১৬০ কিমি দৈর্ঘ্যের বাঁধ সংরক্ষণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

 

জনস্বাস্থ্য কারিগরীঃ

• বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে,৮০টি জলপ্রল্পের কাজ শুরু হয়েছে, এর মধ্যে প্রায় ২০০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ৬০ টির কাজ সমাপ্ত হয়েছে। এর ফলে জেলার প্রচুর মানুষ উপকৃত হচ্ছেন। বাকি জলপ্রকল্পগুলির কাজ শীঘ্রই সমাপ্ত হবে।

 

বন ও পর্যটনঃ

• ‘সবুজশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে, ৫২ হাজারেরও বেশী সদ্যোজাত শিশুকে মূল্যবান গাছের চারা দেওয়া হয়েছে। ১৮ বছর উত্তীর্ণ হলে, গাছ বিক্রির টাকায় শিশুটির পড়াশোনা, বিয়ে ইত্যাদির খরচ মেটানো যাবে।
• মাথাভাঙ্গা-১ ব্লকের ভোগরামপুরে দমদমা ঝিলকে কেন্দ্র করে ইকো-ট্যুরিজম এবং পিকনিক স্পট গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
• রসিকবিল মিনি চিড়িয়াখানায় একটি পক্ষীশালা গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
• আমবাড়িতে পিকনিক স্পট ও শিশু উদ্যান গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
• কাজ চলছে বাণেশ্বর মন্দির ও বৈরাগী দিঘির সংস্কার ও সৌন্দর্জায়নের।

 

শ্রমঃ

• এই জেলায় ‘সামাজিক সুরক্ষা যোজনা’য়, প্রায় ২ লক্ষ ৭৯ হাজার অসংগঠিত ক্ষেত্রের শ্রমিক নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন। এখনও পর্যন্ত, প্রায় ৭৮ হাজার উপভোক্তা, ৩২ কোটি টাকারও বেশি সহয়তা পেয়েছেন।
• ‘যুবশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে, এই জেলার প্রায় ৫ হাজার যুবক-যুবতী উৎসাহ ভাতা পাচ্ছেন।

 

স্বনির্ভর দল ও স্বনিযুক্তি কর্মসুচীঃ

• ‘আনন্দধারা’ প্রকল্পে, প্রায় ৩৫ হাজার স্বনির্ভর দল গঠিত হয়েছে।
• ‘আনন্দধারা’র অন্তর্গত শীতলপাটি, ধারী, পাটজাত দ্রব্যাদি, শুকনো খাবার ইত্যাদি বিষয়ে বিশেষজ্ঞ দলগুলিকে নিয়ে কার্যকরী সংঘ গঠিত হয়েছে এবং তাদের উৎপাদিত সামগ্রী বিক্রির জন্য CII, FICCI, CINI, SIT প্রভৃতি সংস্থাগুলির সঙ্গে সংঘগুলি চুক্তিবদ্ধ হয়েছে।
• বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছর, ‘স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ স্বনির্ভর কর্মসূচী প্রকল্পে’, প্রায় ১১ হাজার উদ্যোগকে অনুমোদন দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং প্রায় ৬০ কোটি টাকা অনুদান প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতিঃ

• এই জেলায় ১৮ হাজারেরও বেশী লোকশিল্পী, ‘লোকপ্রসার প্রকল্পে’ রিটেনার ফি ও পেনশন পাচ্ছেন।

 

আবাসনঃ

• জেলায় আর্থিক ভাবে দুর্বল মানুষদের জন্যে গীতাঞ্জলী ও অন্যান্য প্রকল্পে প্রায় ১২ হাজার মানুষ উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
• ভ্রমনার্থীদের সুবিধা এবং স্থানীয় মানুষের কর্মসংস্থানের জন্য জামালদহে ১টি ‘পথসাথী’-মোটেল গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

ক্রীড়া ও যুব কল্যাণঃ

• ক্রীড়ার মান উন্নয়নে জেলায় ২৩৯টিরও বেশী ক্লাবকে ৬কোটি টাকারও বেশী অর্থ সাহায্য করা হয়েছে।
• জেলায় প্রায় ৮৫টি মাল্টি জিম ১৫টি মিনি ইন্ডোর স্টেডিয়াম, প্রায় ৫ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
• রাজবাটী স্টেডিয়াম সংস্কারের প্রথম পর্যায়ের কাজ ও বাস্কেটবোল কোর্ট নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে।
• কোচবিহার সহ উত্তরবঙ্গের ৮টি জেলা জুড়ে নিয়মিত পালিত হচ্ছে বার্ষিক উত্তরবঙ্গ উৎসব।
• নিয়মিত অনুষ্ঠিত হচ্ছে বার্ষিক ‘কোচবিহার স্পোর্টস’ ক্রীরা প্রতিযোগিতা।

 

উত্তরবঙ্গ উন্নয়নঃ

উত্তরবঙ্গ উন্নয়ন দপ্তর বিভিন্ন উন্নয়নমূলক কাজের রুপায়ন করেছে। এর মধ্যে অন্যতম হলঃ-
• পঞ্চানন বর্মা ইউনিভার্সিটি
• হরিণচাওড়ায় কোচবিহার ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কলেজ
• মাথাভাঙ্গায় নতুন পলিটেকনিক কলেজ
• বক্সিরহাট, ঘোক্সাদানগা, দেওয়ানহাট ও নিশিগঞ্জ কলেজ ভবন।
• শালবাড়িতে মরা রায়ডাক নদীর ওপর সেতু ইত্যাদি।
• মানসী নদীর পাড় বাঁধাই
• কাপাইডাঙা-বোচামারি রাস্তা
• কালজানি নদীর ওপর সেতু
• ভোগরাম্পুরে ইকো-ট্যুরিস্ম ও পিকনিক স্পট

 

আইন শৃঙ্খলাঃ

• এই জেলায় স্থাপন করা হয়েছে নতুন পুন্ডিবাড়ি ও সাহেবগঞ্জ থানা এবং কোচবিহার মহিলা থানা।

Health and Family Welfare

রাজ্য ও অন্যান্য জেলার সাথে তাল মিলিয়ে অভূতপূর্ব উন্নয়ন ঘটেছে মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলায়।

স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণ-

  • এই জেলার সাগরদিঘী, ডোমকল এবং জাঙ্গীপুরে গড়ে উঠেছে ৩টি মাল্টি-সুপার স্পেশালিটি হাসপাতাল।
  • মুর্শিদাবাদ, লালবাগ, জাঙ্গীপুর, কান্দি এনং ডোমকল হাসপাতালে ৫টি ন্যায্য মুল্যের ঔষধের দোকান চালু হয়ে গেছে। জেলার এই সকল দোকান থেকে ঔষধ কেনার ফলে ৮ লক্ষ ৪৭ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষ, ২৪ কোটি ৭৪ লক্ষ টাকারও বেশি ছাড় পেয়েছেন।
  • মুর্শিদাবাদ হাসপাতালে ৩টি ন্যায্য মুল্যের ডায়াগ্নস্টিক পরিষেবা চালু হয়ে গেছে।

  • মুর্শিদাবাদ, মাতৃসদন, কান্দি, জাঙ্গীপুর, লালবাগ ও ডোমকল হাসপাতালে ৬টি SNCU চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • মুর্শিদাবাদ, কান্দি, জাঙ্গীপুর হাসপাতালে ৩টি CCU/HDU চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • এই জেলায় প্রায় ৩ লক্ষ ৪৩ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষ নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন ‘স্বাস্থ্যসাথী’ প্রকল্পে ।
  • ‘শিশুসাথী’ প্রকল্পে, এই জেলার ১,১৫৭টিরও বেশি বাচ্চার সফল অস্ত্রোপচার করা হয়েছে।

 

শিক্ষা-

  • এই জেলা গড় তোলা হবে একটি নতুন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়।
  • রানিনগর-১, ফারাক্কা, সামসেরগঞ্জ, রঘুনাথগঞ্জ-২, সাগরদিঘী, ভরতপুর-২, কান্দি, হরিহরপাড়া, ভরতপুর-১, বেলডাঙ্গা-১-এ ১০টি নতুন আই.টি.আই কলেজ নির্মাণ করা হচ্ছে।
  • জাঙ্গীপুরে ১টি পলিটেকনিক কলেজ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • ‘উৎকর্ষ বাংলা’ কর্মসুচিতে, জেলার ২৪ হাজার ৮০০-এরও বেশি যুবক-যুবতীকে প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলায়, ৩ লক্ষ ৯১ হাজার ছাত্র-ছাত্রীকে ‘সবুজসাথী’ প্রকল্পে সাইকেল প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • কান্দি, খড়গ্রাম, সামসেরগঞ্জ, রঘুনাথগঞ্জ-১, রঘুনাথগঞ্জ-২,ভরতপুর-১, ভরতপুর-২, সুতি-১, সুতি-২ এ ৯টি নতুন মডেল স্কুল নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে।
  • গত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে এই জেলায়, প্রায় ৯৫টি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়কে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয় স্তরে উন্নীত করা হয়েছে।
  • সব স্কুলে মিড-ডে মিল চলছে, যার ফলে পুষ্টি এবং উপস্থিতির হার বেড়েছে এবং স্কুল-ছুট ছাত্র-ছাত্রীর সংখ্যা কমেছে।
  • প্রায় সব বিদ্যালয়ে ছেলে ও মেয়েদের জন্য পৃথক শৌচাগার নির্মিত হয়েছে।

 

ভূমি সংস্কার, কৃষি ও পশুপালন-

  • জেলার প্রায় ৯ হাজার ৪০০-রও যোগ্য ভূমিহীন পরিবারের হাতে ‘নিজ গৃহ নিজ ভূমি’ প্রকল্পে পাট্টা তুলে দেওয়া হয়েছে। এছাড়া, ১৬৭৭-রও বেশি কৃষি ও বনাধিকার পাট্টা প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলার, প্রায় ৯৮০% কৃষক পরিবারকে কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ডের আওতাভুক্ত করা হয়েছে। বাকীদেরও খুব দ্রুত কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ড প্রদান করা হচ্ছে।
  • এই জেলার বহরমপুর, হরিহরপাড়া, সাগরদিঘী, নওদা, খড়গ্রাম,রঘুনাথগঞ্জ-১, রঘুনাথগঞ্জ-২,ভরতপুর-১, ভরতপুর-২,সুতি-১,মুর্শিদাবাদ, জিয়াগঞ্জ, রানিনগর-১ এ
    ২১ টি ‘কিষাণ মান্ডি’ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় প্রাণী সম্পদ উন্নয়ন দপ্তর, ২১ লক্ষ ২৯ হাজারেরও বেশি হাঁস ও মুরগীর বাচ্চা বিতরণ করেছে।

 

পঞ্চায়েত ও গ্রামোন্নয়ন-

  • এই জেলায় ১০০-দিনের কাজে, ১৬৮৫ কোটি টাকারও বেশি ব্যয় করে প্রায় ৭ কোটি ৮২ লক্ষ শ্রম দিবস সৃষ্টি হয়েছে।
  • জেলার প্রায় ১ লক্ষ ৯৩ হাজার মানুষ গ্রামীণ আবাসন যোজনায় উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • এই জেলার আরও প্রায় ৪৫ হাজার ৩০১ জন উপভোক্তাকে বাড়ি তৈরির সহায়তা দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় গ্রামীণ সড়ক যোজনায় ১০০০ কি.মি. রাস্তা নির্মিত হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলায় আরও প্রায় ৬১০ কি.মি. রাস্তা নির্মাণ/সংস্কারের সূচনা করা হয়েছে।
  • ‘সমব্যাথী’ প্রকল্পে জেলার প্রায় ২৫ হাজার ৮০৯ জন উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • জেলায় ‘মিশন নির্মল বাংলা’ প্রকল্পে প্রায় ৭ লক্ষ ২২ হাজার শৌচালয় নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে- যা লক্ষ্যমাত্রার ১০০%।

 

সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়ন-

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, এই জেলায় প্রায় ২৫ লক্ষ ২৩ হাজার সংখ্যালঘু ছাত্র-ছাত্রীকে প্রায় ৩৫২ কোটি টাকার স্কলারশিপ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • এছাড়া, স্বনির্ভরতার জন্য সংখ্যালঘু যুবক-যুবতীদের, প্রায় ১৬০ কোটি টাকা ঋণ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • MSDP-তে, প্রায় ৪৪৫ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় করে সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের উন্নয়নে বিভিন্ন প্রকল্প রূপায়িত করা হয়েছে।
  • এই দুটি প্রকল্পে, জেলায় ২৩ হাজার হেল্‌থ সাব-সেন্টার, অতিরিক্ত শ্রেণী কক্ষ, অঙ্গনওয়ারী কেন্দ্র, বাসগৃহ ইত্যাদি গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলায় ৫০টি ‘কর্মতীর্থ’ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

অনগ্রসর কল্যাণ ও আদিবাসী উন্নয়ন-

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, এই জেলায় ১ লক্ষ ৬১ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্র-ছাত্রী ‘শিক্ষাশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে সহায়তা পেয়েছে।
  • জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ৫ লক্ষ ৭৭ হাজারেরও বেশি SC/ST/OBC Certificate প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

নারী ও শিশু এবং সমাজকল্যাণ-

  • এই জেলায়, ৩ লক্ষ ৯৬ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্রী ‘কন্যাশ্রী’র আওতায় এসেছে।

 

খাদ্য সুরক্ষা কর্মসুচী- খাদ্য সাথী প্রকল্প-

  • এই জেলার ১০০% যোগ্য মানুষকে (প্রায় ৪৭ লক্ষ ৭৯ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষকে), ২ টাকা কেজি দরে (অথবা বাজার দরের অর্দেক দামে) খাদ্যশস্য দেওয়া হচ্ছে- যা জেলার মোট জনসংখ্যার প্রায় ১০০%।

 

 

পূর্ত ও পরিবহন-

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, এই জেলায় পূর্ত দপ্তর ৩২৬ টিরও বেশি রাস্তাঘাট, ব্রীজ ইত্যাদি প্রকল্প রূপায়ণের কাজ হাতে নিয়েছে, যার মধ্যে ২৩৪ টিরও বেশি প্রকল্পের কাজ প্রায় ১১৫৯ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ইতিমধ্যেই সমাপ্ত হয়েছে। এর ফলে, প্রচুর মানুষ উপকৃত হবেন। বাকি প্রকল্পের কাজ খুব শীঘ্রই সমাপ্ত হবে।
  • জেলার সড়ক ব্যবস্থা উন্নয়নে বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হচ্ছে।জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, প্রায় ১০৫০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মাণ/পুর্ননির্মাণ/সম্প্রসারণ ও উন্নতিকরণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। এর মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য হল-
  • ‘বৈতরনী’ প্রকল্পে, ৩ টি শ্মশান ঘাটের উন্নয়ন সহ ১টি বিদ্যুতের চুল্লি বসানোর কাজ চলছে।
  • এই জেলার প্রায় ৬০০ জন যুবক-যুবতী গাড়ি কেনার ঋণ পেয়ে আত্মনির্ভর হয়েছেন।
  • হাতে নেওয়া হয়েছে Safe Drive Save Life এবং Slow Drive Save Life কর্মসূচি। ফলে, উল্লেখযোগ্য ভাবে কমেছে দুর্ঘটনা এবং হতাহতের সংখ্যা।

 

বিদ্যুৎ ও অচিরাচরিত শক্তি-

  • সমগ্র জেলায় ‘সবার ঘরে আলো’ প্রকল্পে ১০০% গ্রামীণ বৈদ্যুতিকরণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
  • সাগরদিঘী তাপবিদ্যুৎ প্রকল্পে ৫০০ মেগাওয়াট সম্পন্ন ৪নং ইউনিট চালু করা হয়েছে। হাতে নেওয়া হয়েছে প্রায় ৬৬০ মেগাওয়াট সম্পন্ন ৫নং ইউনিটের কাজ।

 

সেচ-

  • জেলার প্রায় ২৯০ কিমি দৈর্ঘের বাঁধ সংরক্ষণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
  • হাতে নেওওা হয়েছে প্রায় ৪৪০ কোটি টাকার ‘কান্দি মাস্টার প্ল্যান’ এটি সম্পুর্ণ হলে কান্দি এলাকা সহ জেলার প্রায় ৫ লক্ষ মানুষ উপকৃত হবেন।

 

জনস্বাস্থ্য কারিগরী-

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ১৩৩টি জলপ্রকল্পের কাজ শুরু হয়েছে, এর মধ্যে প্রায় ৭৫১ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ১৩০টির কাজ সমাপ্ত হয়েছে। এর ফলে, জেলার প্রচুর মানুষ উপকৃত হচ্ছেন।বাকী জলপ্রকল্পগুলির কাজ শীঘ্রই সমাপ্ত হবে।

 

বন ও পর্যটন-

  • ‘সবুজশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে, ১ লক্ষ ৩৬ হাজারেরও বেশি সদ্যোজাত শিশুকে মুল্যবান গাছের চারা দেওয়া হয়েছে। ১৮ বছর উত্তীর্ণ হলে, গাছ বিক্রির টাকায় শিশুটির পড়াশুনা, বিয়ে ইত্যাদির খরচ মেটানো যাবে।
  • মোতিঝিলকে কেন্দ্র করে গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে –‘প্রকৃতি তীর্থ’ পর্যটন কেন্দ্র। বহরমপুর-কর্ণসুবর্ণ-কান্দি ট্যুরিজ্‌ম সার্কিটের কাজ সম্পূর্ণ হয়েছে।
  • হাতে নেওয়া হয়েছে মুর্শিদাবাদ-মালদা-নদীয়া ট্যুরিজ্‌ম সার্কিটের কাজ।

 

শ্রম-

  • এই জেলায় ‘সামাজিক সুরক্ষা যোজনা’য়, প্রায় ৬ লক্ষ ৯০ হাজার অসংঘটিত ক্ষেত্রের শ্রমিকরা নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন। এখনো পর্যন্ত, প্রায় ২ লক্ষ ১১ হাজার জন উপভোক্তা, ৮৫ কোটি টাকারও বেশি সহায়তা পেয়েছেন।
  • ‘যুবশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে, এই জেলায় প্রায় ১৪ হাজার যুবক-যুবতী উৎসাহ ভাতা পাচ্ছেন।

 

স্বনির্ভর দল ও স্বনিযুক্তি কর্মসূচী-

  • ‘আনন্দধারা’ প্রকল্পে, প্রায় ৪৬ হাজার স্বনির্ভর দল গঠিত হয়েছে।
  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ‘স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ স্বনির্ভর কর্মসূচী’ প্রকল্পে, প্রায় ১৩ হাজার ৫৯১ উদ্যোগকে অনুমোদন দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং প্রায় ৭২ কোটি টাকা অনুদান প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতি—

  • এই জেলায় ১৩ হাজার ৮০০-রও বেশি লোকশিল্পী, ‘লোকপ্রসার প্রকল্পে’ বহাল ভাতা এবং পেনশন পাচ্ছেন।
  • বহরমপুর রবীন্দ্রভবনকে নবরূপে সাজিয়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

আবাসন-

  • জেলায় আর্থিক ভাবে দুর্বল মানুষদের জন্যে গীতাঞ্জলী ও অন্যান্য প্রকল্পে প্রায় ২১ হাজার মানুষ উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • ভ্রমনার্থীদের সুবিধা এবং স্থানীয় মানুষদের কর্মসংস্থানের জন্য কান্দি ও জলঙ্গীতে ৭টি ‘পথসাথী’ মোটেল গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

ক্রীড়া ও যুব কল্যাণ-

  • ক্রীড়ার মান উন্নয়নে জেলায় ৪৪৮টিরও বেশি ক্লাবকে ১৮ কোটি টাকারও বেশি
    অর্থ সাহাজ্য করা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় প্রায় ৩১টি মাল্টিজিম ও ৪টি মিনি ইন্ডোর স্টেডিয়াম গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে প্রায় ১ কোটি ৬৭ লক্ষ টাকা ব্যয়ে।

Over the last six-and-a-half years, the Trinamool Congress Government has undertaken large-scale developmental activities in Birbhum.

Health and Family Welfare

Health district: Rampurhat Health District created

Medical college: Medical college being set up in Rampurhat

Multi/Super-speciality hospitals: 3 set up in Suri, Bolpur and Rampurhat

Fair-price medicine shops: 4 set up – at Suri District Hospital, Rampurhat Subdivisional Hospital, Bolpur Subdivisional Hospital and Sainthia Rural Hospital; buying from these fair-price shops has resulted in more than 9.65 lakh people getting discounts of more than Rs 18.82 crore

Fair-price diagnostic centres: 6 set up at Suri District Hospital, Rampurhat Subdivisional Hospital and Bolpur Subdivisional Hospital

Rural housing: About 1.46 lakh people benefitted; on January 29, 2018, it was announced that about 70,000 people would be distributed houses under various schemes

Rural roads: About 1,050 km roads built under Grameen Sadak Yojana; on February 13, 2018, it was announced that 790 km is being built/renovated

Scholarships: About 10.5 lakh students from minority communities given scholarships worth about Rs 315 crore

Swami Vivekananda Swanirbhar Karmasuchi Prakalpa: Youths given loans worth about Rs 150 crore

IMDP & MSDP: About Rs 230 crore spent for various schemes under Integrated Minority Development Programme and Multi-sectoral Development Programme – more than 6,800 health sub-centres, additional classrooms, anganwadi centres, houses, etc.
Cyber Gram: Under this scheme, madrasah students (both boys and girls) being given computer training

Shikshashree: More than 2.16 lakh students have received scholarships under the scheme

SC/ST/OBC certificates: About 3 lakh people handed over SC/ST/OBC certificates

 

Women and Child Development and Social Welfare

Kanyashree: More than 1.85 lakh girls brought under the ambit of the Kanyashree Scheme

Combating severe malnutrition: At the anganwadi centres, children suffering from severe malnutrition are fed a low-cost nutritious food called Nutrimix, and Nutrimix and diet laddu are given to their mothers to be fed at home

Continuous Monitoring System: To improve the diet of children suffering from malnutrition, the Birbhum district administration runs a special Continuous Monitoring System to keep a constant watch on the nutritional status of such children

 

Food security

Khadya Sathi: As part of the scheme, 100% of the eligible population of Birbhum (about 34.79 lakh) being given foodgrains at Rs 2 per kg (or at half the market price)

 

PWD and Transport

Projects completed: PWD Department has completed more than 120 projects like roads, bridges, etc. by investing about Rs 1,500 crore

Roads: About 1,100 km of roads built/renovated/widened, the important ones being Joydeb-Kenduli road, Panagarh-Moregram road, Nalhati-Moregram road and Mallarpur-Majhipara-Bolpur road

Bridges: 2 being built over Ajay river – to connect Muchipara-Shibpur road (Paschim Bardhaman) to Jaydev-Kenduli-Khagra road (Birbhum), and to connect Panagarh on NH2 (Paschim Bardhaman) to Dubrajpur (Birbhum) on NH60 via Ilambazar (Birbhum)

Bus terminals: SBSTC bus depot in Suri modernised at a cost of Rs 73 crore; Bolpur Bus Terminus being built at a cost of Rs 1 crore

Baitarani: As part of Baitarani Scheme, 33 burning ghats being renovated, 1 electric crematorium being built

Gatidhara: Through Gatidhara Scheme, about 300 youths managed to buy vehicles for commercial use

Traffic awareness programmes: Safe Drive Save Life and Slow Drive Save Life traffic awareness programmes have reduced accidents by a significant number

Sabar Ghare Alo: Through implementation of Sabar Ghare Alo Scheme, 100% rural electrification achieved

Dams repaired: About 80 km of dams repaired

Kandi Master Plan: Portion of Kandi Master Plan in Birbhum district being completed at entirely State Govt’s cost of about Rs 22 crore

 

Public Health Engineering

Projects completed: Public Health Engineering Department has completed 20 projects at a cost of about Rs 100 crore

 

Forest and Tourism

Sabujshree: Saplings given to more than 90,000 newborns (as per the scheme, after crossing 18 years of age, the tree will be sold and the student’s education funded out of that money)

Tourism: Ranga Bitan tourist resort set up, including building of 10 cottages; Bakreswar Tourist Resort set up; renovation of Tarapth Temple, Kankalitala Temple and its surroundings, mazhar of Data Baba of Patharchapuri (Saheb); Baul Bitan tourist resort at Khowai in Bolpur at a cost of Rs 14 crore

 

Labour

Samajik Suraksha Yojana: 3.33 lakh workers from the unorganised sector documented – of these, about 83,000 beneficiaries have received benefits to the tune of more than Rs 35 crore

Yuvashree: About 9,000 youths given allowances under this scheme

Anandadhara: About 31,000 self-help groups set up

Funds for clubs: More than 485 clubs given more than Rs 15 crore for promoting sports

Sporting infrastructure: 150 multi-gyms and 65 mini-indoor stadiums built at a cost of Rs 8 lakh approximately

Developmental schemes: Paschimanchal Unnayan Department undertaking lot of developmental schemes related to water conservation, irrigation, agriculture, education, health, road construction, drinking water, etc.

Check dams: Numerous check dams to conserve water in Jangalmahal region

Lac farmers: By helping in increase of lac production, the department has increased employment opportunities for local people

 

Law and order

Police stations: Police stations in Santiniketan, Tarapith, Chandrapur and Lokpur, and Suri women’s police station set up

 

বীরভূম জেলার উন্নয়ন – এক নজরে

 

রাজ্য ও অন্যান্য জেলার সঙ্গে তাল মিলিয়ে অভূতপূর্ব উন্নয়ন ঘটেছে বীরভূম জেলায়।

 

স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণঃ

  • রামপুরহাটকে পৃথক স্বাস্থ্য জেলা ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে।
  • রামপুরহাটে গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে নতুন মেডিকেল কলেজ।
  • এই জেলার সিউড়ি, বোলপুর ও রামপুরহাটে গড়ে উঠেছে ৩টি মাল্টি সুপার স্পেশালিটি হাসপাতাল।
  • বীরভূম জেলা হাসপাতাল, রামপুরহাট ও বোলপুর জেলা হাসপাতাল এবং সাঁইথিয়া গ্রামীণ হাসপাতালে ৪টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান চালু হয়ে গেছে। জেলার এই সকল ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান থেকে ওষুধ কেনার ফলে ৯ লক্ষ ৬৫ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষ ১৮ কোটি ৮২ লক্ষ টাকারও বেশি ছাড় পেয়েছে।
  • সিউড়ি, বোলপুর ও রামপুরহাট হাসপাতালে ৬টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ডায়াগনস্টিক পরিষেবা চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • এই জেলায় ১৪টি SNSU চালু হয়ে গেছে। সিউড়ি, বোলপুর ও রামপুরহাট হাসপাতালে ৩টি SNCU চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • সিউড়ি, বোলপুর ও রামপুরহাট হাসপাতালে ৩টি CCU/HDU চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • ‘স্বাস্থ্যসাথী’ প্রকল্পে এই জেলায় প্রায় ৩ লক্ষ ৪ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষ নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন।
  • ‘শিশুসাথী’ প্রকল্পে, এই জেলার ১ হাজারেরও বেশি বাচ্চার সফল অস্ত্রোপচার করা হয়েছে।

 

শিক্ষাঃ

  • এই জেলায় বিশ্বকবি রবীন্দ্রনাথের বিশ্বভারতীর আদলে বোলপুরে গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে নতুন বিশ্ব বাংলা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়।
  • বেসরকারি উদ্যোগে গড়ে উঠেছে নতুন সিকম স্কিল ইউনিভার্সিটি।
  • ৭টি নতুন আই টি আই কলেজ নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে।
  • ৩টি নতুন পলিটেকনিক কলেজ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • ‘উৎকর্ষ বাংলা’ কর্মসূচিতে জেলার ৩১ হাজারেরও বেশি যুবক-যুবতীকে  প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলায়, ২ লক্ষ ৪৭ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্র ছাত্রীকে ‘সবুজসাথী’ প্রকল্পে সাইকেল প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • ৫টি নতুন মডেল স্কুল নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায়, গত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, প্রায় ৮৫টি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়কে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয় স্তরে উন্নীত করা হয়েছে।
  • সব স্কুল মিড-ডে-মিল চলছে, যার ফলে পুষ্টি এবং উপস্থিতির হার বেড়েছে এবং স্কুল-ছুট ছাত্র-ছাত্রীর সংখ্যা কমেছে।
  • প্রতিটি বিদ্যালয়ে ছেলে ও মেয়েদের জন্য পৃথক শৌচাগার নির্মিত হয়েছে।

 

ভূমি সংস্কার, কৃষি ও পশুপালনঃ

  • জেলার ১৫ হাজার যোগ্য ভূমিহীন পরিবারের হাতে ‘নিজ গৃহ নিজ ভূমি’ প্রকল্পে পাট্টা তুলে দেওয়া হয়েছে। এছাড়া ২ হাজার ৬৬০ এর বেশি কৃষি ও বনাধিকার পাট্টা প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলার, প্রায় ৯৫% কৃষক পরিবারকে কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ডের আওতাভুক্ত করা হয়েছে। বাকিদেরও খুব দ্রুত কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ড প্রদান করা হচ্ছে।
  • ১৩টি ‘কিষাণ মান্ডি’ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় প্রাণী সম্পদ উন্নয়ন দপ্তর, ২৯ লক্ষ ১০ হাজারেরও বেশি হাঁস ও মুরগীড় বাচ্চা বিতরণ করেছে।

 

পঞ্চায়েত ও গ্রামোন্নয়নঃ

  • এই জেলায় ১০০-দিনের কাজে, ২৩৪০ কোটি টাকারও বেশি ব্যয় করে প্রায় ১১ কোটি ৮০ লক্ষ শ্রম দিবস সৃষ্টি হয়েছে।
  • জেলার প্রায় ১ লক্ষ ৪৬ হাজার মানুষ গ্রামীণ আবাস যোজনায় উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • এই জেলার আরও প্রায় ৭০ হাজার উপভোক্তাকে বাড়ি তৈরির সহায়তা দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় গ্রামীণ সড়ক যোজনায় প্রায় ১০৫০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মিত হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলায় আরও প্রায় ৭৯০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মাণ/সংস্কারের সূচনা করা হয়েছে।
  • ‘সমব্যাথী’ প্রকল্পে জেলার প্রায় ১০ হাজার ৫০০ জন উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর ‘নির্মল জেলা’। জেলায় ‘মিশন নির্মল বাংলা’ প্রকল্পে প্রায় ৪ লক্ষ ৮০ হাজার শৌচালয় নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে – যা লক্ষ্যমাত্রার ১০০%।

 

সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়নঃ

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, এই জেলার প্রায় ১০ লক্ষ ৫০ হাজার সংখ্যালঘু ছাত্রছাত্রীকে প্রায় ৩১৫ কোটি টাকা স্কলারশিপ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • এছাড়া, স্বনির্ভরতার জন্য সংখ্যালঘু যুবক-যুবতীদের, প্রায় ১৫০ কোটি টাকা ঋণ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • MSDP ও IMDP তে প্রায় ২৩০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় করে সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের উন্নয়নে বিভিন্ন প্রকল্প রূপায়িত করা হয়েছে।
  • এই ২ টি প্রকল্পে, জেলায় ৬ হাজার ৮০০টিরও বেশি হেলথ সাব সেন্টার, অতিরিক্ত শ্রেণী কক্ষ।অঙ্গনওয়াড়ী কেন্দ্র, বাসগৃহ ইত্যাদি গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • সাইবার গ্রাম কর্মসূচীতে মাদ্রাসা ছাত্রছাত্রীদের কম্পিউটার প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হচ্ছে।
  • ১৮টি ‘কর্মতীর্থ’ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

অনগ্রসর কল্যাণ ও আদিবাসী উন্নয়নঃ

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ২ লক্ষ ১৬ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্র-ছাত্রী ‘শিক্ষাশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে সহায়তা পেয়েছে।
  • জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ৩ লক্ষ SC/ST/OBC Certificate প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

নারী ও শিশু উন্নয়ন এবং সমাজকল্যাণঃ

  • এই জেলায়, ১ লক্ষ ৮৫ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্রী ‘কন্যাশ্রী’র আওতায় এসেছে।
  • জেলার সমস্ত অতি-পুষ্ট শিশুদের সকালে নিউট্রিমিক্স নামের একটি পুষ্টিকর শিশু আহার ও বাড়িতে খাওয়ানোর জন্য নিউট্রিমিক্স ও পৌষ্টিক লাড্ডু সরবরাহ করা সরবরাহ করা হচ্ছে।

 

খাদ্য সুরক্ষা কর্মসূচী – ‘খাদ্য সাথী’ প্রকল্পঃ

এই জেলার ১০০% যোগ্য মানুষকে (প্রায় ৩৪ লক্ষ ৭৯ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষকে), ২/- টাকা কেজি দরে (অথবা বাজার দরের অর্ধেক দামে) খাদ্যশস্য দেওয়া হচ্ছে – যা জেলার মোট জনসংখ্যা প্রায় ৯৯%।

 

পূর্ত ও পরিবহনঃ

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, এই জেলায় পূর্ত দপ্তর ১৭০টিরও বেশি রাস্তাঘাট, ব্রিজ ইত্যাদি রুপায়নের কাজ হাতে নিয়েছে, যার মধ্যে ১২০টিরও বেশি প্রকল্পের কাজ ১৫০০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় ইতিমধ্যেই সমাপ্ত হয়েছে/ এর ফলে প্রচুর মানুষ উপকৃত হচ্ছেন। বাকি প্রকল্পের কাজ খুব শীঘ্রই সমাপ্ত হবে।
  • জেলার সড়ক ব্যবস্থা উন্নয়নে বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছে। বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে প্রায় ১১০০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মাণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
  • ৭৩ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে সিউড়ি SBSTC বাস ডিপোর উন্নয়ন করা হয়েছে। ১ কোটি টাকার বেশি ব্যয়ে বোলপুরে বাস টার্মিনাস তৈরির কাজ চলছ ।
  • এই জেলার প্রায় ৩০০ জন যুবক-যুবতী গাড়ি কেনার ঋণ পেয়ে আত্মনির্ভর হয়েছেন।
  • হাতে নেওয়া হয়েছে Safe Drive Save Life এবং Slow Drive Save Life কর্মসূচী। ফলে, উল্লেখযোগ্য ভাবে কমেছে দুর্ঘটনা এবং হতাহতের সংখ্যা।

 

বিদ্যুৎ ও অচিরাচরিত শক্তিঃ

সমগ্র জেলায় ‘সবার ঘরে আলো’ প্রকল্পে, ১০০% গ্রামীণ বৈদ্যুতিকরনের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

 

সেচঃ

  • জেলায় প্রায় ৮০ কিমি দৈর্ঘ্যের বাঁধ সংরক্ষণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
  • প্রায় ২২ কোটি টাকার বীরভূম জেলার কান্দি মাস্টার প্ল্যানের কাজ হাতে নেওয়া হয়েছে।

 

জনস্বাস্থ্য কারিগরীঃ

বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ৩২টি জল প্রকল্পের কাজ শুরু হয়েছে, এর মধ্যে প্রায় ১০০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ২০টির কাজ সমাপ্ত হয়েছে। এর ফলে জেলার প্রচুর মানুষ উপকৃত হচ্ছেন। বাকি জল প্রকল্পগুলির কাজ খুব শীঘ্রই সমাপ্ত হবে।

 

বন ও পর্যটনঃ

  • ‘সবুজশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে, ৯০ হাজারেরও বেশি সদ্যোজাত শিশুকে মূল্যবান গাছের চারা দেওয়া হয়েছে। ১৮ বছর উত্তীর্ণ হলে, গাছ বিক্রির টাকায় শিশুটির পড়াশোনা, বিয়ে ইত্যাদির খরচ মেটানো যাবে।
  • বোলপুরের রাঙা বিতান পর্যটন কেন্দ্র সমস্ত সুবিধা সহ ১০টি কটেজ নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে বক্রেশ্বরে ট্যুরিস্ট রিসর্ট।
  • প্রায় ১৪ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে ‘বাউল বিতান’।

 

শ্রমঃ

  • এই জেলায় সামাজিক সুরক্ষা যোজনায় প্রায় ৩ লক্ষ ৩৩ হাজার অসংগঠিত ক্ষেত্রের শ্রমিক নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন। এখনো পর্যন্ত প্রায় ৮৩ হাজার উপভোক্তা, ৩৫ কোটি টাকার ও বেশি সহায়তা পেয়েছেন।
  • যুবশ্রী প্রকল্পে, এই জেলায় প্রায় ৯ হাজার যুবক-যুবতী উতসাহ ভাতা পাচ্ছেন।

 

স্ব-নির্ভর দল ও স্বনিযুক্তি কর্মসূচীঃ

  • ‘আনন্দধারা’ প্রকল্পে প্রায় ৩১ হাজার স্ব-নির্ভর দল গঠিত হয়েছে।
  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ‘স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ স্ব-নির্ভর কর্মসূচী’ প্রকল্পে প্রায় সাড়ে ১৪ হাজার উদ্যোগকে অনুমোদন দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং প্রায় ৮০ কোটি টাকা অনুদান প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

পুর ও নগরোন্নয়নঃ

  • গঠন করা হয়েছে তারাপীঠ-রামপুরহাট, বক্রেশ্বর এবং পাথরচাপুরী উন্নয়ন কর্তৃপক্ষ।
  • প্রায় ৭ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে, তারাপীঠ পানীয় জলপ্রকল্প উন্নয়নের কাজ হাতে নেওয়া হয়েছে। ২টি welcome gate গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

  • এই জেলায় ১২ হাজারেরও বেশি লোকশিল্পী, ‘লোকপ্রসার প্রকল্পে’ রিটেনার ফি ও পেনশন পাচ্ছেন।
  • জয়দেব-কেন্দুলি বাউল আকাদেমি গঠন করা হয়েছে। সিউড়ি রবীন্দ্রভবনকে নবরূপে সাজিয়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।

 

আবাসনঃ

  • জেলায় আর্থিকভাবে দুর্বল মানুষদের জন্যে গীতাঞ্জলী ও অন্যান্য প্রকল্পে প্রায় ১৯ হাজার মানুষ উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • ভ্রমনার্থীদের সুবিধা এবং স্থানীয় মানুষের কর্মসংস্থানের জন্য নন্দকুমার ও মেছেদায় ৪টি ‘পথসাথী’ মোটেল গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

ক্রীড়া ও যুবকল্যাণঃ

  • ক্রীড়ার মান উন্নয়নে জেলায় ৪৮৫টিরও বেশি ক্লাবকে ১৫ কোটি টাকারও বেশি অর্থ সাহায্য করা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায়  প্রায় ১৫০টি মাল্টি জিম ও ৬৫টি মিনি ইনডোর স্টেডিয়াম, প্রায় ৮ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

পশ্চিমাঞ্চল উন্নয়নঃ

  • পশ্চিমাঞ্চল উন্নয়ন বিষয়ক দপ্তর জল সংরক্ষণ, সেচ, কৃষি, শিক্ষা, স্বাস্থ্য, সড়ক নির্মাণ, পানীয় জলের ব্যবস্থা প্রভৃতি প্রকল্পগুলি অগ্রাধিকার ভিত্তিতে রূপায়ন করছে।
  • জল সংরক্ষণের জন্য পশ্চিমাঞ্চল উন্নয়ন বিষয়ক দপ্তর, জঙ্গলমহল এলাকায় একাধিক চেক ড্যাম নির্মাণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। পাশাপাশি, লাক্ষা চাষের উৎপাদন বাড়িয়ে এই অঞ্চলের মানুষের কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ বৃদ্ধি করা হয়েছে।

 

 আইন-শৃঙ্খলাঃ

এই জেলায় স্থাপন করা হয়েছে নতুন শান্তিনিকেতন, তারাপীঠ, চন্দ্রপুর ও লোকপুর থানা ও সিউড়ি মহিলা থানা।

Multi/Super-speciality hospitals: 3 set up in Nandigram, Panskura and Egra

Fair-price medicine shops: 5 set up at Purba Medinipur District Hospital, Tamluk, Digha Subdivisional Hospital, and at hospitals in Contai, Egra and Haldia; buying from these fair-price shops has resulted in more than 9.31 lakh people getting discounts of more than Rs 20.9 crore

Shikshashree: More than 1.4 lakh students have received scholarships under the scheme

Industrial Growth: Industrial Growth Centre set up in Haldia

MSME: 27 MSME clusters established in the micro, small and medium enterprises sector – among which the important ones are a cashew nut cluster in Contai, 8 steel utensils clusters in Tamluk, Haldia, Mecheda, Panskura, Contai, Moyna, Egra and Daisai, and readymade garments cluster in Basulia; convention centre to help in development of industry and tourism in Digha; IT hub and industrial estate in Haldia; bank loans worth more than Rs 6,975 crore given

 

PWD and Transport

Projects completed: PWD Department has completed more than 85 projects like roads, bridges, etc. by investing about Rs 570 crore

Roads: About 650 km of roads built/re-built/widened, among which 2 important ones are Panskura-Durgachowk Road and Dakshin Shitla Dadanpatrabar-Mandarmani Road

Baitarani: As part of Baitarani Scheme, 33 burning ghats being renovated and 1 electric furnace being constructed

Gatidhara: Through Gatidhara Scheme, about 270 youths managed to buy vehicles for commercial use

Traffic awareness programmes: Safe Drive Save Life and Slow Drive Save Life traffic awareness programmes have reduced accidents by a significant number

 

Power – Non-renewable and Renewable Energy

Sabar Ghare Alo: Through implementation of Sabar Ghare Alo Scheme, 100% rural electrification achieved

Power stations: India Power Corporation (Haldia) Limited has set up thermal power plant in Haldia, consisting of three 150 MW units

 

Irrigation

Dam repair: About 330 km of dams strengthened

Canal repair: Renovation of Keleghai-Kapaleswari-Bagai Canal going on at a cost of Rs 650 crore, to benefit about 4 lakh people in 14 blocks in Purba and Paschim Medinipur and Jhargram districts

Ghatal Master Plan: Flood control plan set up at a cost of Rs 2,000 crore to control floods in Panskura-1 and Panskura-2 blocks and Ghatal region in Paschim Medinipur, to benefit about 17 lakh people

Bridges: 2 bridges built over Chandika river in Ejmalich and Sridharpur in Moyna block; Dakshin Narikelda Bridge built over Pratapkhali Canal in Nandakumar block

Jetties: 2 jetties built over Rasulpur river in Rasulpur and Boga

 

Public Health Engineering

Projects completed: Public Health Engineering Department has completed 55 projects at a cost of about Rs 240 crore.

 

Forest and Tourism

Sabujshree: Saplings given to more than 38,000 newborns (as per the scheme, after crossing 18 years of age, the tree will be sold and the student’s education funded out of that money)

Tourism: Digha Gate built in a record 18 months at Rs 6.5 crore; Marine Drive in Digha; 9 more projects including watch towers in Digha, Sankarpur, Tajpur and MadarmaniBiswa Bangla Park in Digha, youth hostel in Digha renovated; seaside road till Nayakali, and Digha Mohana Road; lighting set up in Tajpur town and sea coast; Digha-Kolkata helicopter service started

Samajik Suraksha Yojana: About 9.86 lakh workers from the unorganised sector documented – of these, about 1.25 lakh beneficiaries have received benefits to the tune of more than Rs 57 crore

Yuvashree: About 5,000 youths given allowances under this scheme

Anandadhara: About 38,000 self-help groups set up

পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর জেলার উন্নয়ন – এক নজরে

রাজ্য ও অন্যান্য জেলার সঙ্গে তাল মিলিয়ে অভূতপূর্ব উন্নয়ন ঘটেছে পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর জেলায়।

স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণঃ

  • এই জেলার নন্দীগ্রাম, পাশকুঁড়া ও এগরায় গড়ে উঠেছে ৩টি মাল্টি সুপার স্পেশালিটি হাসপাতাল।
  • পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর জেলা হাসপাতাল, কাঁথী, হলদিয়া ও দীঘা মহকুমা হাসপাতালে ৫টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান চালু হয়ে গেছে। জেলার এই সকল ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান থেকে ওষুধ কেনার ফলে ৯ লক্ষ ৩১ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষ ২০ কোটি ৯০ লক্ষ টাকারও বেশি ছাড় পেয়েছে। তমলুক জেলা হাসপাতালে ২টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ডায়াগনস্টিক পরিষেবা চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • এই জেলায় ২০টি SNSU চালু হয়ে গেছে (দীঘা, হলদিয়া, মুগবেড়িয়া, গোনেরা, জানুবাসান, নন্দীগ্রাম, ময়না, বারারানকুয়া, রিয়াপাড়া, অনন্তপুর, বাসুলীয়া, সীন্নাবেড়িয়া, উত্তর মেছোগ্রাম, বাসন্তিয়া, ভগবানপুর, কামারদা, গঙ্গাধরপুর, খেজুরবেড়িয়া, এরাশাল ও পাইকপারি)।
  • তমলুক ও এগরা হাসপাতালে ২টি SNCU চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • তমলুক, কাঁথী, হলদিয়া, নন্দীগ্রাম, এগরা ও দীঘা হাসপাতালে ৬টি CCU/HDU চালু হয়ে গেছে।
  • কাঁথী মহকুমা হাসপাতালকে ২০০ থেকে ৩০০ শয্যায় সম্প্রসারিত করা হচ্ছে।
  • ‘স্বাস্থ্যসাথী’ প্রকল্পে এই জেলায় প্রায় ১ লক্ষ ৯৩ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষ নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন।
  • ‘শিশুসাথী’ প্রকল্পে, এই জেলার ৫২৩টিরও/ হাজারেরও বেশি বাচ্চার সফল অস্ত্রোপচার করা হয়েছে।

 

শিক্ষাঃ

  • এই জেলার, তমলুক শহীদ মাতঙ্গিনী হাজরা মহিলা কলেজ, স্বর্ণময়ী জোগেন্দ্রনাথ কলেজ এবং শ্যামসুন্দরপুরে ৩টি নতুন সরকারী কলেজ গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।
  • দেশপ্রাণ (কাঁথী-২), নন্দীগ্রাম ও এগরায় ৩টি নতুন আই টি আই কলেজ নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে।
  • কোলাঘাটে একটি নতুন পলিটেকনিক কলেজ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • ‘উৎকর্ষ বাংলা’ কর্মসূচিতে জেলার ৮২ হাজারেরও বেশি যুবক-যুবতীকে প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলায়, ৩ লক্ষ ২৮ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্র ছাত্রীকে ‘সবুজসাথী’ প্রকল্পে সাইকেল প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায়, গত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, প্রায় ১৭০টি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়কে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয় স্তরে উন্নীত করা হয়েছে।
  • সব স্কুল মিড-ডে-মিল চলছে, যার ফলে পুষ্টি এবং উপস্থিতির হার বেড়েছে এবং স্কুল-ছুট ছাত্র-ছাত্রীর সংখ্যা কমেছে।
  • প্রতিটি বিদ্যালয়ে ছেলে ও মেয়েদের জন্য পৃথক শৌচাগার নির্মিত হয়েছে।

 

ভূমি সংস্কার, কৃষি ও পশুপালনঃ

  • জেলার ৯ হাজারেরও বেশি যোগ্য ভূমিহীন পরিবারের হাতে ‘নিজ গৃহ নিজ ভূমি’ প্রকল্পে পাট্টা তুলে দেওয়া হয়েছে। এছাড়া ৪ হাজারেরও বেশি কৃষি ও বনাধিকার পাট্টা প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলার, প্রায় ৯৫% কৃষক পরিবারকে কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ডের আওতাভুক্ত করা হয়েছে। বাকিদেরও খুব দ্রুত কিষাণ ক্রেডিট কার্ড প্রদান করা হচ্ছে।
  • এই জেলার পাঁশকুড়া-১, ভগবানপুর-২, পটাশপুর-১, দেশপ্রাণ (কাঁথী-২), এগরা-১ ও নন্দীগ্রামে ৬টি ‘কিষাণ মান্ডি’ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় প্রাণী সম্পদ উন্নয়ন দপ্তর, ২৪ লক্ষ ৫৮ হাজারেরও বেশি হাঁস ও মুরগীড় বাচ্চা বিতরণ করেছে।

 

পঞ্চায়েত ও গ্রামোন্নয়নঃ

  • এই জেলায় ১০০-দিনের কাজে, ২২২০ কোটি টাকারও বেশি ব্যয় করে প্রায় ৯ কোটি ৪ লক্ষ শ্রম দিবস সৃষ্টি হয়েছে।
  • জেলার প্রায় ১ লক্ষ ৪১ হাজার মানুষ গ্রামীণ আবাস যোজনায় উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • এই জেলার আরও প্রায় ২৬ হাজার ৭৬৫ জন উপভোক্তাকে বাড়ি তৈরির সহায়তা দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় গ্রামীণ সড়ক যোজনায় প্রায় ৭০০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মিত হয়েছে।
  • এই জেলায় আরও প্রায় ৩৯৫ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মাণ/সংস্কারের সূচনা করা হয়েছে।
  • ‘সমব্যাথী’ প্রকল্পে জেলার প্রায় ৪ হাজার ২৬৭ জন উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর ‘নির্মল জেলা’। জেলায় ‘মিশন নির্মল বাংলা’ প্রকল্পে প্রায় ২ লক্ষ ১৬ হাজার শৌচালয় নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে – যা লক্ষ্যমাত্রার ১০০%।

 

সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়নঃ

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, এই জেলার প্রায় ৪ লক্ষ ১২ হাজার সংখ্যালঘু ছাত্রছাত্রীকে প্রায় ১০০ কোটি টাকা স্কলারশিপ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • এছাড়া, স্বনির্ভরতার জন্য সংখ্যালঘু যুবক-যুবতীদের, প্রায় ৩২ কোটি টাকা ঋণ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
  • MSDP তে প্রায় ৬ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় করে সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের উন্নয়নে বিভিন্ন প্রকল্প রূপায়িত করা হয়েছে।
  • এই প্রকল্পে, জেলায় ৩০টির ও বেশি হেলথ সাব সেন্টার, অতিরিক্ত শ্রেণী কক্ষ।অঙ্গনওয়াড়ী কেন্দ্র, বাসগৃহ ইত্যাদি গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে
  • এই জেলার এগরা-২, পাঁশকুড়া-১, পাঁশকুড়া-২, পটাশপুর-২(২টি), সুতাহাটা-১, রামনগর-১ (২টি), কাঁথী-৩, নন্দীগ্রাম-১, খেজুরী-২, শহীদ মাতঙ্গিনী, তমলুক ও ময়নায় ১৪টি ‘কর্মতীর্থ’ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

অনগ্রসর কল্যাণ ও আদিবাসী উন্নয়নঃ

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ১ লক্ষ ৪০ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্র-ছাত্রী ‘শিক্ষাশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে সহায়তা পেয়েছে।
  • জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ২ লক্ষ ১৬ হাজারেরও বেশি SC/ST/OBC Certificate প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

নারী ও শিশু উন্নয়ন এবং সমাজকল্যাণঃ

  • এই জেলায়, ২ লক্ষ ৮৪ হাজারেরও বেশি ছাত্রী ‘কন্যাশ্রী’র আওতায় এসেছে।

 

খাদ্য সুরক্ষা কর্মসূচী – ‘খাদ্য সাথী’ প্রকল্পঃ

  • এই জেলার ১০০% যোগ্য মানুষকে (প্রায় ৫১ লক্ষ ৭১ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষকে), ২/- টাকা কেজি দরে (অথবা বাজার দরের অর্ধেক দামে) খাদ্যশস্য দেওয়া হচ্ছে – যা জেলার মোট জনসংখ্যা প্রায় ১০০%।

 

শিল্পঃ

  • হলদিয়ায় ১টি ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল পার্ক তৈরি করা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় ক্ষুদ্র, ছোট ও মাঝারি উদ্যোগের ২৭টি ক্লাস্টার গড়ে উঠেছে।
  • কাঁথীতে একটি কাজু বাদামের ক্লাস্টার, তমলুক, হলদিয়া, মেছেদা, পাঁশকুড়া, কাঁথী, ময়না, এগরায় ও দাইসাইয়ে ৮টি স্টিলের আসবাব তৈরির ক্লাস্টার, বাঁসুলীয়ায় একটি জামাকাপড় তৈরির ক্লাস্টার প্রভৃতি।
  • শিল্প ও পর্যটনের বিকাশে গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে দীঘায় একটি কনভেনশন সেন্টার।
  • হলদিয়ায় গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে আইটি হাব ও ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল এস্টেট।
  • ক্ষুদ্র শিল্পের ক্ষেত্রে এই জেলায় ৬৯৭ কোটি টাকারও বেশি ব্যাঙ্ক ঋণ প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

পূর্ত ও পরিবহনঃ

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, এই জেলায় পূর্ত দপ্তর ১১০টিরও বেশি রাস্তাঘাট, ব্রিজ ইত্যাদি রুপায়নের কাজ হাতে নিয়েছে, যার মধ্যে ৮৫টিরও বেশি প্রকল্পের কাজ ৫৭০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় ইতিমধ্যেই সমাপ্ত হয়েছে/ এর ফলে প্রচুর মানুষ উপকৃত হচ্ছেন। বাকি প্রকল্পের কাজ খুব শীঘ্রই সমাপ্ত হবে।
  • জেলার সড়ক ব্যবস্থা উন্নয়নে বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছে। জেলায় বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে প্রায় ৬৫০ কিমি রাস্তা নির্মাণ/পুনর্নির্মাণ/সম্প্রসারণ ও উন্নীতকরণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। এর মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য হলঃ পাঁশকুড়া-দুর্গাচক রাস্তা,দক্ষিণ শিতলা দাদনপাত্রবার-মান্দারমনি রাস্তা প্রভৃতি।
  • ‘বৈতরিনী’ প্রকল্পে ৩৩টি শ্মশান ঘাটের উন্নয়ন সহ ১টি বিদ্যুতের চুরি বসানোর কাজ চলছে।
  • এই জেলার প্রায় ২৭০ জন যুবক-যুবতী গাড়ি কেনার ঋণ পেয়ে আত্মনির্ভর হয়েছেন।
    হাতে নেওয়া হয়েছে Safe Drive Save Life এবং Slow Drive Save Life কর্মসূচী। ফলে, উল্লেখযোগ্য ভাবে কমেছে দুর্ঘটনা এবং হতাহতের সংখ্যা।

 

বিদ্যুৎ ও অচিরাচরিত শক্তিঃ

  • সমগ্র জেলায় ‘সবার ঘরে আলো’ প্রকল্পে, ১০০% গ্রামীণ বৈদ্যুতিকরনের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
  • হলদিয়ায় Indian Power Corporation (Haldia) LIMITED-এর একটি নতুন ৩ ১৫০ মেগা ওয়াট তাপবিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্র গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

সেচঃ

  • জেলায় প্রায় ৩৩০ কিমি দৈর্ঘ্যের বাঁধ সংরক্ষণের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
  • প্রায় ৬৫০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে কেলেঘাই-কপালেশ্বরী-বাগাই খাল সংস্কারের কাজ চলছে।
  • এই প্রকল্পে, পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর, পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর ও ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলার ১৪টি ব্লকের প্রায় ৪ লক্ষ মানুষ উপকৃত হবেন।
  • পাঁশকুড়া-১ ও পাঁশকুড়া-২ ব্লক সহ পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার ঘাটাল এলাকার বন্যা নিয়ন্ত্রণের জন্য প্রায় ২ হাজার কোটি টাকার ‘ঘাটাল মাস্টার প্ল্যান’ তৈরি হয়েছে। এটি রূপায়িত হলে এই বিস্তীর্ণ অঞ্চলের প্রায় ১৭ লক্ষ মানুষ প্রতি বছর বন্যার সমস্যা থেকে মুক্তি পাবেন।
  • ময়না ব্লকের চণ্ডিকা নদীর উপরে এজমালিচক ও শ্রীরামপুরে ২টি সেতু নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে।
  • রসুলপুর ও বোগায় রসুলপুর নদীর ওপর ২টি নতুন জেটি গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

জনস্বাস্থ্য কারিগরীঃ

  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ৭০টি জল প্রকল্পের কাজ শুরু হয়েছে, এর মধ্যে প্রায় ২৪০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে ৫৫টির কাজ সমাপ্ত হয়েছে। এর ফলে জেলার প্রচুর মানুষ উপকৃত হচ্ছেন।বাকি জল প্রকল্পগুলির কাজ খুব শীঘ্রই সমাপ্ত হবে।

 

বন ও পর্যটনঃ

  • ‘সবুজশ্রী’ প্রকল্পে, ৩৮ হাজারেরও বেশি সদ্যোজাত শিশুকে মূল্যবান গাছের চারা দেওয়া হয়েছে। ১৮ বছর উত্তীর্ণ হলে, গাছ বিক্রির টাকায় শিশুটির পড়াশোনা, বিয়ে ইত্যাদির খরচ মেটানো যাবে।
  • মাত্র ১৮ মাসের রেকর্ড সময়ে ‘দীঘা গেট’ নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে সাড়ে ৬ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে।
  • দীঘায় মেরিন ড্রাইভ গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • এছাড়া দিঘা, শঙ্করপুর, তাজপুর, মন্দারমনিতে ওয়াচ টাওয়ার, দীঘায় বিশ্ব বাংলা উদ্যান , দীঘা যুব আবাসের সংস্কার, নয়াকালীন মন্দির পর্যন্ত সমুদ্র তীরবর্তী রাস্তা, দীঘা-মোহনা রাস্তা সহ মোট ৯টি প্রকল্পের কাজ সম্পূর্ণ হয়েছে।
  • দীঘায় বিশ্ব বাংলা উদ্যান সম্পূর্ণ করা হয়েছে।
  • তাজপুর শহর ও সৈকতের আলোকায়ন করা হয়েছে।
  • দীঘা-কলকাতা হেলিকপ্টার পরিষেবা সূচনা হয়েছে।

 

শ্রমঃ

  • এই জেলায় সামাজিক সুরক্ষা যোজনায় প্রায় ৯ লক্ষ ৮৬ হাজার অসংগঠিত ক্ষেত্রের শ্রমিক নথিভুক্ত হয়েছেন। এখনো পর্যন্ত প্রায় ১ লক্ষ ২৫ হাজার উপভোক্তা, ৫৭ কোটি টাকার ও বেশি সহায়তা পেয়েছেন।
  • যুবশ্রী প্রকল্পে, এই জেলায় প্রায় ৫ হাজার যুবক-যুবতী উতসাহ ভাতা পাচ্ছেন।

 

স্ব-নির্ভর দল ও স্বনিযুক্তি কর্মসূচীঃ

  • ‘আনন্দধারা’ প্রকল্পে প্রায় ৩৮ হাজার স্ব-নির্ভর দল গঠিত হয়েছে।
  • বিগত সাড়ে ৬ বছরে, ‘স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ স্ব-নির্ভর কর্মসূচী’ প্রকল্পে প্রায় সাড়ে ১১ হাজার উদ্যোগকে অনুমোদন দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং প্রায় ৮৫ কোটি টাকা অনুদান প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

 

পুর ও নগরোন্নয়নঃ

  • জেলায় ৩টি মিউনিসিপ্যালিটি, ১৩০ কোটি টাকারও বেশি পরিকল্পনা খাতে ব্যয় করেছে।
  • শহরাঞ্চলে গরীবদের জন্য বাসস্থান প্রকল্পে, প্রায় ৫ হাজার ৬০০ জন মানুষ উপকৃত হয়েছেন।

 

তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতিঃ

  • এই জেলায় ২৩ হাজারেরও বেশি লোকশিল্পী, ‘লোকপ্রসার প্রকল্পে’ রিটেনার ফি ও পেনশন পাচ্ছেন।

 

আবাসনঃ

  • জেলায় আর্থিকভাবে দুর্বল মানুষদের জন্যে গীতাঞ্জলী ও অন্যান্য প্রকল্পে প্রায় ১৯ হাজার মানুষ উপকৃত হয়েছেন।
  • ভ্রমনার্থীদের সুবিধা এবং স্থানীয় মানুষের কর্মসংস্থানের জন্য নন্দকুমার ও মেছেদায় ২টি ‘পথসাথী’ মোটেল গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।

 

ক্রীড়া ও যুবকল্যাণঃ

  • ক্রীড়ার মান উন্নয়নে জেলায় ৯৫৫টিরও বেশি ক্লাবকে ৩২ কোটি টাকারও বেশি অর্থ সাহায্য করা হয়েছে।
  • জেলায় প্রায় ৩০০টি মাল্টি জিম ও ৬০টি মিনি ইনডোর স্টেডিয়াম, প্রায় ১৮ কোটি ৫৩ লক্ষ টাকা ব্যয়ে গড়ে তোলা হয়েছে।
  • নন্দকুমারে একটি যুব আবাস গড়ে তোলা হচ্ছে।

 

আইন-শৃঙ্খলাঃ

  • এই জেলায় স্থাপন করা হয়েছে নতুন মন্দারমণি, জুনপুট ও নয়াচর উপকূলীয় থানা এবং কাঁথী ও হলদিয়া মহিলা থানা।
