Pratima Mandal speaks on the need of a level crossing at Piyali railway station
Thank you Hon’ble deputy Speaker, Sir, for allowing me to speak during Zero Hour. Sir, in my parliamentary constituency Piyali is one of the oldest and biggest railway stations over Piyali River on Sealdah-Canning line. Sir, the major problem of this railway station is the vehicles from one side cannot cross to the opposite side due to absence of railway level crossing. I wrote thrice to the Railway Minister but I did not get any positive result. I, on behalf of thousands of thousands villagers students of schools and colleges, would like to request once again to the Railway Minister to consider this long pending issue and take favourable action in this regard.
