Trinamool to hold protests against anti-people policies of Centre on 10 September

To protest against the rising fuel prices and other anti-people policies of the Centre, Trinamool Congress will organise a protest march on September 10.
On the same day, other Opposition parties have called for Bharat Bandh. Although, Trinamool supports the issues, the party does not believe in bandh culture.
A protest march will be organised on September 10 from Moulali crossing at 3 PM till Dorina Crossing in Dharmatala. Rallies and street corner meetings will be held in districts too.
Partha Chattopadhyay’s press conference at Trinamool Bhavan:
Prices of fuel are rising. Price of rupee is falling. Common people are suffering because of the anti-people policies of the Centre. Farmers are agitating with the demand of loan waiver.
On one hand there is a mountain of corruption and on the other hand anti-people policies. We support any protest on these twin issues. But Trinamool Congress is against bandhs. We do not want to disrupt public life and productivity in the name of bandhs. In the past, 80 lakh mandays were lost due to bandhs. We do not support this. We support the issues. We will request people to keep their shops and businesses open.
To register our protest against the anti-people policies of the Centre, on Monday (September 10) we will organise a protest march from Moulali crossing at 3 PM till Dorina Crossing at Dharmatala.
To protest against the plight of the people due to the faulty policies of the Centre, we will organise protest marches and street corner meetings across all districts of the State on Monday.
