Trinamool candidate list represents the entire society: Trinamool Chairperson at Diamond Harbour
Trinamool Chairperson today addressed two rallies in the Diamond Harbour constituency in support of the party candidate Abhishek Banerjee. She spoke at length about the choice of party candidates. She said that the list of candidates represented the entire society.
Excerpts from the Chairperson`s speech:
We have fielded several women candidatesfor Lok Sabha polls. There are several doctors and doctorates among ourcandidates this time. We have given ticket to a lot of young people. We havetried to balance youth and experience in our list of candidates. I supportthose who work on ground for the people. I do not support people who are bornwith a golden spoon in their mouth.
The previous MP from Diamond Harbour hasnot worked for the people. I am sorry for that. I am sure that Abhishek willwork for the people once elected from here. Abhishek has an identity of hisown. He has worked for the people. We have to create a new generation ofpoliticians who can work for the people in future. Trinamool thinks about thefuture. We are focused on how to make the future better.
