‘Dekho Re’ returns after monsoon break
The musical extravaganza ‘Dekho Re’ at Lal Dighi is back, with more features including heavy discounts on available MSME products.
It may be recalled that “Dekho Re” is the brainchild of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, created to develop Lal Dighi as one of the favourite weekend destinations in the city. It was named by the Chief Minister as well.
This will be a programme held on every Saturday and Sunday, in which music, food and handicraft goods are available at the one place. Moreover, the beautiful decoration and lighting arrangement will create an atmosphere altogether that no one would want to miss.
‘Dekho Re had started in April 2017, but remained suspended for the past few months due to the monsoon. Initiatives will also be taken to make different products of Haringhata Meat available at Lal Dighi during the programme.
With the initiation of ‘Dekho Re’ from October end, people from different parts of the city and its surrounding areas will get another place of attraction in the city in winter.
