CM launches Calcutta police`s puja guide
Ms. Mamata Banerjee launched Calcutta police’s puja guide at Town Hall on Thursday and (above) her drawing on the cover of the booklet. The guide provides information on big pujas, road restrictions and other dos and don’ts.
Mamata Banerjee’s triple triumph at the by-polls and in court has brought cheer to puja organizers. Flooded with inauguration requests, she confirmed on Thursday that she would do the honours at 24 pandals.
On Thursday evening, Ms. Banerjee inaugurated six pujas, including those at Md Ali Park and Chetla Agrani Sangha.
The other pujas Ms. Banerjee has been requested to launch includes Ekdalia Evergreen, Bhowanipore Sankharipara, Bhowanipore Sarbojanin, Naktala Udayani Sangha, Behala Nutan Dal and Suruchi Sangha.
