Bengal is rising to make its mark globally: Mamata Banerjee
To highlight the progress made by West Bengal over the five and a half years, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today released a video of about seven minutes on her Facebook Page.
The video showcases the landmark successes in fields such as agriculture and farming, industries, urban development, tourism, education and research and various other social sector projects.
It must be noted that Bengal is higher placed than many other states in several parameters and developmental statistics show Bengal performing better than India as a whole.

বিশ্বসেরা হওয়ার পথে এগিয়ে চলেছে বাংলা: মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়
গত পাঁচ বছরে বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে বাংলার সাফল্য তুলে ধরতে আজ ফেসবুকে একটি ৭ মিনিটের ভিডিও পোস্ট করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।
ভিডিওটিতে কৃষি, শিল্প, নগর উন্নয়ন, পর্যটন, শিক্ষা ও অন্যান্য সামাজিক প্রকল্পের কথা তুলে ধরা হয়েছে।
বিভিন্ন মাপকাঠি দিয়ে বিচার করলে অনেক ক্ষেত্রেই দেশের অন্যান্য রাজ্যের তুলনায় অনেক এগিয়ে বাংলা। উন্নয়নের নিরিখে বাংলা সামগ্রিকভাবে সারা দেশকেও অনেক পিছনে ফেলে দিয়েছে।

আমরা বাংলার সেরা দিকগুলি বিশ্বের সামনে তুলে ধরলাম।
কৃষি থেকে শিল্প, পরিষেবা ক্ষেত্র থেকে সামাজিক ক্ষেত্র – সব দিক দিয়েই বাংলা এখন সারা দেশের থেকে এগিয়ে আছে।
বিশ্বসেরা হওয়ার পথে এগিয়ে চলেছে বাংলা।
