Bengal CM inaugurates 4th Unit of Sagardighi Thermal Power Station
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the fourth unit of the Sagardighi Thermal Power project among many others and lay foundation stones for a bouquet of projects from a public meeting at Domkal, Murshidabad, today.
The Bengal Chief Minister inaugurated numerous developmental projects including a SNCU, primary health centres, an ITI, road projects, girls’ hostels, drinking water projects, a Karma Tirtha and a Patha Sathi. She laid foundation stones for projects including the fifth unit of the Sagar Dighi Thermal Power project, Karmatirthas, road projects, primary health centres, school buildings among others.
CM distributed cycles under Sabuj Sathi and other benefits like Kanyashree, Sikshashree, Yubashree, Sabushree, Sasthya Sathi, agricultural machinery, Gatidhara and other such projects.
Highlights of her speech:
- The 4th unit of Sagardighi Thermal Power Plant (Rs 3000 project) has been inaugurated today
- We have laid the foundation stone for the 5th unit of Sagardighi Thermal Power Plant (Rs 800 crore project)
- Bengal is a power surplus State
- We are setting up 3 multi super speciality hospitals in Murshidabad
- We gave land for campus of Aligarh Muslim University in Murshidabad district
- 90% people in Murshidabad have received direct government benefits. 50,000 people received benefits today
- We have set up 25 SNCUs, 5 fair price medicine shops, 3 fair price diagnostic centres in Murshidabad
- 8 model schools, 3 ITIs, 21 Krishi Mandis have been set up in Murshidabad
- We have waived khajna (tax) on agricultural land. Bengal is the only State to do it
- 4000 people in Murshidabad benefited under Samarthan scheme for those who lost jobs due to DeMonetisation
- We have laid the foundation stone for Beldanga Garments Hub today
- We have allotted Rs 440 crore for Kandi Master Plan to prevent floods
- Projects worth Rs 8000 crore have been inaugurated/laid foundation today
- About 40 lakh girls receive Kanyashree scholarships
- Rice at Rs 2/kg is given to 8 crore people in the State under Khadya Sathi scheme
- We have distributed 35 lakh cycles under Sabuj Sathi. Next year we will give 30 lakh cycles
- More than 60 lakh minority students have received scholarships worth Rs 1100 crore
- 10,000 people have received financial assistance to buy vehicles under Gatidhara scheme
- We have started Samabyathi scheme to help poor people cremate/bury their near and dear ones
- Healthcare is free in Bengal. We started health insurance for ICDS, Asha workers, media, civic volunteers etc
- Bengal has received Krishi Karman award five years in a row for excellence in agriculture
- We will observe Ambedkar Jayanti in every block of the State
সাগরদিঘি থার্মাল পাওয়ার স্টেশনের চতুর্থ ইউনিটের উদ্বোধন করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী
আজ মুর্শিদাবাদের ডোমকলে একটি জনসভা করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। সভামঞ্চ থেকে সাগরদিঘি তাপবিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্রে ৬৬০ মেগাওয়াটের চতুর্থ ইউনিট সহ একগুচ্ছ প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধন ও শিলান্যাস করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।
জঙ্গিপুরে নার্সিং ট্রেনিং স্কুল, কুলি মোড় থেকে মোড়গ্রাম পর্যন্ত রাস্তা সংস্কার, ডোমকলে পুরভবন নির্মাণ, জেলাপরিষদের ১৩৬ কিলোমিটার রাস্তা, নওদার আমতলায় জলঙ্গি নদীর উপর সেতু নির্মাণ, ডোমকলে গোরস্থানে সীমানাপ্রাচীর দেওয়া, শ্মশানে বৈদ্যুতিন চুল্লি বসানো প্রভৃতি সহ প্রায় ১৭০টি প্রকল্পের শিলান্যাস করেন তিনি। এছাড়া বেশ কিছু গ্রামীণ রাস্তা, পানীয় জল প্রকল্প, কর্মতীর্থ, স্কুল সহ প্রায় ৭৫টি প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধনও করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী।
এছাড়া সবুজ সাথী, কন্যাশ্রী, শিক্ষাশ্রী, যুবশ্রী, সবুজ সাথীর সাইকেল, প্রাণী মিত্র, গীতাঞ্জলী, শিল্পীদের ক্রেডিট কার্ড, ট্রাক্টর, কৃষি যন্ত্রপাতি সহ আরও অনেক সুযোগ সুবিধা প্রদান করেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।

- বাংলা এখন ‘পাওয়ার সারপ্লাস’ রাজ্য
- মুর্শিদাবাদে ৩টি মাল্টি সুপার স্পেশালিটি হাসপাতাল তৈরী হচ্ছে
- মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলায় আলীগড় মুসলিম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ক্যাম্পাস তৈরীর জন্য আমরা জমি দিয়েছি
- মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলায় ৯০% লোকের কাছে আমরা সরকারী পরিষেবা পৌঁছে দিয়েছি। ৫০ হাজার মানুষকে আজ সরকারী পরিষেবা দেওয়া হল
- মুর্শিদাবাদে ২৫ টি এস এন সি ইউ, ৫টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ওষুধের দোকান, ৩টি ন্যায্য মূল্যের ডায়াগনস্টিক সেন্টার তৈরী হয়েছে
- মুর্শিদাবাদে ৮ টি মডেল স্কুল, ৩টি আইটিআই, ২১টি কৃষক বাজার তৈরী হয়েছে
- কৃষিজমির ওপর খাজনা আমরা মুকুব করে দিয়েছি
- নোট বাতিলের ফলে কর্মহীন হয়েছেন এরকম ৪০০০ মানুষ (মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলার) সমর্থন প্রকল্পের আওতায় এসেছেন
- আজ বেলডাঙ্গা বস্ত্র হাবের শিলান্যাস হয়েছে
- বন্যা নিয়ন্ত্রণে কান্দি মাস্টার প্ল্যানের জন্য আমরা ৪৪০ কোটি টাকা বরাদ্দ করেছি
- আজ প্রায় ৮ হাজার কোটি টাকার বিভিন্ন প্রকল্পের উদ্বোধন ও শিলান্যাস করা হল
- সবুজ সাথী প্রকল্পে আমরা ৩৫ লক্ষ সাইকেল দিয়েছি। আগামী বছর আমরা ৩০ লক্ষ সাইকেল প্রদান করব
- কন্যাশ্রী প্রকল্পের আওতায় ৪০ লক্ষ কন্যা সন্তান স্কলারশিপ পাচ্ছে
- খাদ্য সাথী প্রকল্পের আওতায় আমরা ৮ কোটি মানুষকে ২ টাকা কেজি দরে চাল দিচ্ছি
- ৬০ লক্ষেরও বেশী সংখ্যালঘু ছেলেমেয়েরা প্রায় ১১০০ কোটি টাকা স্কলারশিপ পেয়েছে
- গতিধারা প্রকল্পের আওতায় ১০ হাজার মানুষ গাড়ি কেনার জন্য আর্থিক সাহায্য পেয়েছেন
- বাংলায় বিনামূল্যে চিকিৎসা পাওয়া যায়
- আইসিডিএস, আশা কর্মী, মিডিয়া ও সিভিক ভলেন্টিয়ারদের আমরা স্বাস্থ্য সাথী প্রকল্পের আওতায় এনেছি
- গত ৫ বছর ধরে বাংলা কৃষি কর্মণ পুরস্কার পেয়ে আসছে
- রাজ্যের প্রতিটি ব্লকে ব্লকে আমরা আম্বেডকর দিবস পালন করব
