Time has come for Maa-Mati-Manush govt in Tripura: Abhishek Banerjee
Trinamool Youth Congress National President Abhishek Banerjee addressed a massive rally in Agartala in Tripura today. The rally was held at Rabindra Bhawan in Choumuhoni area in the afternoon.
Tripura Pradesh Youth Trinamool Congress (TPYTMC) is observing September 23, that is, today, as ‘Day of Integrity’ between the tribal and non-tribal sections of the people of the State. This is in protest against the alleged ruling CPI(M)-conspired clash between the two sections in Agartala on the same day a month back. Trinamool Congress has launched a state-wide agitation against this.
Earlier, on August 9, 2016, the Trinamool Congress Chairperson had addressed a massive rally in Agartala.
In his speech, Abhishek Banerjee said that Trinamool Congress will form a Maa-Mati-Manush government in Tripura, and that the hammer, sickle and star are rusted now.
Contrasting the condition of Tripura with the massive development that West Bengal has witnessed under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee, he said, “How many multi super-speciality hospitals have the CPI(M) set up in 23 years? … I challenge Manik Sarkar to arrest us if what we have said is untrue!”
Referring to the chit fund scandal that had ravished West Bengal, Abhishek Banerjee said, “CPI(M) is the father of chit funds and Congress is the mother”. Continuing in the same vein, he said, “We no longer need this government of thieves”.
He once again stressed on the role of youth in politics, particularly on the importance that Trinamool Congress attaches to this section of the demographic, and said that the “youth will play a major role in the 2018 polls” in Tripura.

আজ ত্রিপুরার আগরতলায় একটি জনসভা করেন তৃণমূল যুব কংগ্রেসের সভাপতি অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। জনসভাটি হয়েছে রবীন্দ্র ভবনে দুপুর ১ টায়।
আজকের দিনটিকে ত্রিপুরা প্রদেশ যুব তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস বিভিন্ন জনগোষ্ঠীর মধ্যে ‘সংহতি দিবস’ হিসেবে পালন করছে।
সিপিএম ষড়যন্ত্র করে আগরতলার মানুষদের মধ্যে বিভেদ সৃষ্টি করার চেষ্টা করছে। এর বিরুদ্ধে রাজ্যজুড়ে প্রতিবাদ কর্মসূচী শুরু করেছে তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস।
এর আগে গত ৯ আগস্ট তৃণমূল নেত্রী ত্রিপুরার আগরতলায় এক বিশাল জনসভা করেন।
