Campaign by Trinamool Congress in these areas has been based on the numerous developmental works including beautification of the areas.
Ward No 67 Candidate: Bijan Mukherjee

The Ward lies bounded by the Picnic Garden Road in the north, Banku Behari Chatterjee Road and Rajkrishna Chatterjee Road in the south, Rajkrishna Chatterjee Road and a line drawn on the eastern edge of Kasba Mauza and of Laskarhat Mauza in the east and Eastern Railway tracks in the west.

The campaigning in this Ward in mainly based on providing water supply, garbage removal, anti-mosquito measures and slum de3velopment. Measures taken by the present councilor have not been proved to be effective, so the people of the ward will seek for change and elect the Trinamool candidate.

One of the best maintained wards in south Kolkata, the ward has all the necessary civic facilities in place. Proper water supply, well lit-up roads, public urinals, parks for children and cleanliness all over.

This ward houses Trinagular Park (Sarat Udyan) and Deshapriya Park, both of which are not attractions of south Kolkata.

The area around Garcha and Dover Road has seen tremendous works under Trinamool Congress. The areas are cleaned at regular intervals, trees planted and maintained, water supply is steady and other civic utilities are in place and accessible.
This ward is green and has utilities like kiosks supplying cold water to the citizens at junctures.

Ward 87 is a model ward that houses half of the Rabindra Sarobar area. Public urinals, street side gardens, boulevard gardens, children’s’ park, water supply, cleanliness, this ward can boast of all necessities being provided.

Tanima di, the present councilor and the AITC candidate is always accessible. She visits the ward every day, takes stock of anything that arises and tries to solve them on spot. When asked what was the next level of development for a ward that have it all, she said that she will continue providing what she has been doing with equal vigour. Street-corner campaign meeting at Ward No 90
Ward 90 houses the other half of Rabindra Sarobar. This Ward is the pride of south Kolkata. Rabindra Sarobar, decades back, was avoided for its notoriousness. After Trinamool came in charge of the ward, measures were taken to make this place beautiful and safe.

The last five years saw tremendous works going on in this area, transforming Rabindra Sarobar from hell to heaven. One can see policemen keeping vigil inside Rabindra Sarobar at late evenings, as late as 10 PM. Now, evening walks are possible here without any threat to public safety.
Ward No 107 Candidate: Sushanta Ghosh

The Ward lies bounded by the northern boundary of Nonadanga mauza and Rajdanga Road in the north, Haltu Main Road, Kayasthapara Main Road, P. Mazumder Road, and the Canal in the south, Eastern Metropolitan Bypass in the east and Kasba Road, a Pucca Road and a line Drawn on the eastern edge of Kasba Mauza and Laskarhat Mauza and Nonadanga Mauza in the west.

Kasba, under Sushanta Ghosh has seen tremendous upliftment in Ward No 107. Our main achievement in the last five years have been successfully supplying water to all the people of this ward, said Sushanta da, while working out the last minute campaign plans in his ward office. Our plan for the next five years is to provide the daily needed civic service to all the people without any interruption and serve them, he said.
