Vivek Gupta makes a Zero Hour Mention on pollution due to stubble burning in north India
Thank you Sir, for giving me an opportunity to speak on the subject. Sir, this problem recurs every year; we read about it in the papers.
Sir, through you I would like to know what step is the government proposing to take to address the issue. Have they given any training to the farmers? Have they given them any lessons or any idea how to dispose crops instead of burning them?
Sir, children, in fact all Delhites, are suffering. We are also suffering. Sir, this year the Parliament has got delayed otherwise the session would have been running when the crop burning was taking place; as lawmakers we would have been subject to it. Maybe, that was required; only then we would have been acting faster on it.
Through you, Sir, we want an answer from the Government. What concrete steps do they propose so that this does not occur every year.
