Sudip Bandyopadhyay demands the Triple Talaq Bill be sent to Joint Select Committee

Madam, we are of the same opinion regarding several provisions of this Bill. This is a very important Bill especially since the rights of the women are concerned. If the Hon. Minister can consider to send the Bill to a Joint Parliamentary Select Committee, I think there will be no harm. This is the unanimous opinion of the Opposition parties. So, I will request you to tell the Law Minister that if he agrees with the proposal and he can take 15 days to three weeks’ time, as Kharge Ji proposed.
