FULL TRANSCRIPT

I would like to draw attention of the minister, through you, that centuries old Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Botanic Garden is situated in my constituency and it’s a unique organisation in its kind, not only in this country but also all over the world. Hundreds of scholars come and visit this place for research and studies from all over the world along with thousands of spectators who visit the garden on a daily basis.
Sir, this is a pride of our country but nowadays this place is suffering because of lack of proper maintenance. The health of the garden is rapidly deteriorating and it is also found that the boundary wall is broken for a long time. Because of this rare plants are being kept unprotected. It shows how much care and nursing it got from the authority.
Sir, I am demanding the ministry to look into the matter and do something to revive the health of this centuries old garden
