Bijoy Chandra Barman makes Zero Hour mention on withdrawal of Padatik Express stoppage at Jalpaiguri Road

Madam, through you I would like to let the Hon. Railway Minister know about an issue which is very important for my constituency. The stoppages of 12377 and 12378 Padatik Express at Jalpaiguri Road station were removed by the Railways in November last year, which has resulted in immense inconvenience to thousands of passengers – general customers and business people alike.
Madam, Jalpaiguri Road is the district hub and thousands of passengers use the train to reach Kolkata, the State capital and other places. But the facility has been withdrawn. I request the Hon. Minister to issue necessary orders to the sanctioning authority so that the Padatik Express stoppage at Jalpaiguri Road station is reinstated.
