Aparupa Poddar speaks on the issue of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Tarakeshwar

Thank you, Speaker Sir, for allowing me to speak in the Zero Hour. In my Parliamentary Constituency Arambagh, there is a place called Tarakeshwar, which is very famous for its pilgrimage of Lord Shiva. There is a Kendriya Vidyalaya in Tarakeshwar. The problem is that for the last five years, the school is running in a guest house. The Government of West Bengal has already allotted land for the Kendriya Vidyalaya. But, till now the school is running in the guest house.
Through you, I would urge the HRD Minister to construct a school on the land that has been allotted from our State Government, so that good quality education the students studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya in Tarakeshwar benefit. They are the future of India.
