Aparupa Poddar asks a Question on National Sports Academy for the specially-abled

Madam, the Hon’ble Minister has given us details that he has set up five centres but it is sad that he has chosen only five places in the entire country. If such a centre could be set up in every State, our specially-abled children would benefit a lot.
Madam, one small question. In my constituency, a handicapped camp was organised in 2017. And in 2019, we are preaching about promoting sports among handicapped children. I would request the Minister, and I had also written to him, that they should be given equal identity (saman parichay). We would be grateful to him if he does so. We would also request him to set up such schemes in my constituency and West Bengal. I want to ask the minister if he has any such plans.
