Aparupa Poddar asks a Question on civic amenities in slums

Speaker Madam, thank you for allowing me to ask this Question.
Madam, whether the government proposes to abolish slums from the metro cities of the country to develop the cities as modern metro cities? Does the central government have any proposal to replace entire slums into inclusive and integrated community apartments?
Madam, slum sabse jyada railway lands me hain. Aapke ke madhyam se mein Mantriji ko puchna chahungi ki is tarah ka jo railway land hain is par aaplog integrated community centre ke hisab se in logon ko housing denge?
Kolkata airport me utarke koi Dakshineswar Mandir jate hain to State Government ke through humlog slum ko acche tara design karke ghar diye hai. Agar aap Old Delhi railway station se utarke Jaipur ja rahe toh woh slum jo railway land pe hain, unka sthiti bahut kharab hai.
Abhi Central Government aapka hain, railways ke pas jameen hain. Kya un slum ko ache tarike se kaam karke unko accha ghar denge? Dhyanabad.
