Winter Session of Parliament – Week 1 | Trinamool protests against Centre

The Winter Session of Parliament began on December 11, 2018. While both the Houses witnessed repeated adjournments, Trinamool played the ideal Opposition by laying reports of Parliamentary Standing Committees, as well as voicing the party’s stand on legislations.

On December 13, on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the attack on Parliament, party MPs paid homage to the martyrs. Trinamool MPs also organised a dharna against the Centre near the Gandhi statue inside Parliament premises on December 14.

LOK SABHA

December 12

PROTEST

Trinamool Congress MPs gathered in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi inside Parliament premises on December 14 to protest against the current government at the Centre. Slogans were raised against the government. Click here for details.
