Website, social media pages for Bengal Global Business Summit launched
West Bengal Finance, Commerce and Industries Minister Amit Mitra launched the website of the Bengal Global Business Summit on Monday. In a press conference at Nabanna, Amit Mitra also unveiled the Facebook and Twitter pages of the highly anticipated programme to cater the news and information in more convenient way.
The summit will be held in the Salt Lake Stadium grounds from 7th January to 8th January. The summit will focus on the sectors like Urban Infrastructure and Housing, IT Software & Hardware, Food Processing, Horticulture & Floriculture, MSME & Textiles, Health Care, Education & Skills, Manufacturing, Energy & Infrastructure, Hospitality & Tourism and Business of Entertainment, Financial Services.
To organize the business summit, a committee with 60 Industrialists has been formed. The Summit will not only help the government organisations but also private investors with financial backings. The Summit will also see how along with urban areas, rural areas can be developed.
The slogan of the summit is ‘Come to Bengal, Ride the Growth’.
