WB Govt to organise roadshow in Mumbai to attract investors

West Bengal Urban Development Minister MrFirhad Hakim will take part in a two-day business conference in Mumbai onSeptember 1 and 2. The Minister will promote the Financial Hub atRajarhat-Newtown and woo investors to invest in Bengal.

Incidentally, a number of organizationshave already applied for space in the new financial hub at Rajarhat.  Mr Hakim, during his trip to Mumbai, willpromote Bengal as an investment destination, specially after the successfulbusiness trip of WB CM to Singapore. He will also take a tour of the Mumbai-PuneHighway and a model smart city.

In 2012, the West Bengal organized aroadshow in Mumbai. The State Urban Development Minister Firhad Hakim, alongwith senior officials of the Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation, waspresent at the meeting. Representatives of reputed institutions like EdelweissTokyo, IndusInd Bank, Yes Bank, Citibank, L&T Infra, DBS, IDBI Mutual, DenaBank, SBI Capital, ICICI, Kotak Mahindra, Future Capital and others werepresent there.
