WB CM wishes everyone on the occasion of Eid
Chief Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee today wishedthe people of Bengal a very happy and prosperous Eid. At an Iftar party in Kolkata she prayed forthe communal harmony in the State. She hoped that Allah will accept the roza of all those who fasted for thelast one month.

Let there be communal harmony. Let every person- irrespective of caste, creed or religion – live in peace. Let the light ofEid bring happiness in your lives. I pray to Allah to accept the roza of the people who have kept fastsover the past one month. May Allah keep you all hale and hearty. Let me quote afamous sher:
Khudiko kar buland itna ke har taqder se pehleKhuda bande se khud pooche bata teriraza kya hai
I am sure Allah will qabul the roza you haveperformed over the last one month. Let there be peace in Bengal. Let there bepeace in your lives.
