WB CM observes Raksha Bandhan
West Bengal Chief Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee wished everyone on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan. On her Facebook page she wrote:
“May the sweet bond between brothers and sisters be perpetual and usher in happiness, peace and prosperity in your lives.”
Incidentally, Shah Rukh Khan, the Brand Ambassador of Brand Bengal was present in Kolkata yesterday to attend a function of the Kolkata Police – Jai He – at Netaji Indoor Stadium. WB CM tied a rakhi to Shah Rukh Khan, Prosenjit and others and celebrated 'Raksha Bandhan' on the occasion.

Other Trinamool leaders also celebrated Raksha Bandhan. Trinamool YUVA National President Abhishek Banerjee posted pictures of the celebration of Raksha Bandhan on his Facebook page.
WB CM also tied Rakhi to the West Bengal Governor Shri Kesarinath Tripathi.
