WB CM holds an administrative review meeting in Birbhum district
West Bengal Chief Minister Ms. MamataBanerjee addressed a public meeting at Bolpur, Birbhum today. The WestBengal Chief Minister also chaired an administrative meeting with thedistrict officials at Bolpur. This was her her 63rd district-leveladministrative review meeting, in which she takes stock of the progress of developmentalworks in the districts.
TheChief Minister inaugurated a slew of projects today and laid the foundationstones for a host of other projects. She threw open several new roads, inaugurated new buildings for Excise and Health Department in the districts, SNSUs at differenthealth centres, several ITIs, girl`s hostels, Kisan Mandis, model schools among other things.
Amongthe new projects that started off are the rural distribution centers atseveral places, projects for making new roads, a Model Farm and a Farmer`sMarket, irrigation projects, pipelined water supply projects and a production Centre for the kantha artistes.
The Chief Minister also distributed services, including loans andgrants such as Kanyashree, Geetanjali, Kisan Credit Cards, scholarships tominority community students, power tillers, tractors,cycles to girls, land pattas and other suchbenefits.
