Trinamool sweeps Panchayat Polls
The Trinamool Congress has swept the 2018 Panchayat Polls, the results for which continued to be declared till late Thursday night.
From the final outcomes that have been announced so far, the ruling party led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has won 90% of the seats in the three-tier rural system, convincingly showing once again the people’s faith in the development and progressive programmes of the Government.
