Tourism promotion in Kolkata through LED boards
The festive season is at our doorsteps. To make people in Kolkata more aware of the new spots developed by the Tourism Department, the latter has decided to promote them through advertisements on LED boards. These boards would be placed across the city.
The placing of the boards has already started at several places like Bhupen Bose Avenue, Jadavpur, AJC Bose Road and New Town.
The project ‘Tourism on Wheels’ has already been started for both promotion of tourist spots and on-the-spot booking of hotels and lodges. LED screens placed on the vehicles also screen short films on the places of interest.
