Three-day Consumer Awareness Fair begins in Kolkata
The Bengal Government under Trinamool Congress has always recognised the need for the protection of consumers’ rights, and has fulfilled its obligations in terms of formulating and enforcing laws and holding awareness campaigns.
To this end, the Government has been organising consumer awareness fairs every year. The fair in Kolkata for 2018 was inaugurated today and will continue for three days.
The fair would begin at 12 PM and continue till 9 PM on each day. Stalls would be set up from where those attending would get to know about consumer rights, the areas where complaints can be lodged, how to lodge complaints and the procedure for redressal.
The areas range from telecom, electricity, banking and insurance to food adulteration and metrology, among others. Seminars would be held every afternoon. In the evenings, cultural programmes would add entertainment value to the event.
কলকাতায় শুরু হল ক্রেতা সুরক্ষা মেলা
জনসাধারণের স্বার্থ রক্ষায় সর্বদা তৎপর পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার। জনসাধারণ যাতে কোনো ভাবে প্রতারিত বা বঞ্চিত না হন তার জন্য ক্রেতা সুরক্ষা দফতর সাফল্যের সঙ্গে কাজ করে চলেছে।
সেই লক্ষ্যেই প্রতি বছরের মতো এবছরও শুরু হল ক্রেতা সুরক্ষা মেলা।
আজ উদ্বোধন হল তিন দিন ব্যাপী এই মেলার। এই মেলা চলবে প্রতিদিন দুপুর দুটো থেকে রাত নটা অবধি। মেলায় প্রতিদিন দুপুরে সেমিনার ও সন্ধ্যে বেলায় সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়েছে।
