Surgical equipment cluster to come up in Baruipur
The State Government is planning an investment of Rs 6 crore for a surgical equipments cluster in Baruipur. It will come up on a 12-cottah plot.
This would be another opportunity of growth for the State’s micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector.
The surgical instruments hub in Baruipur is well-known for manufacturing some of the best products in the country, which are used by some of the best hospitals. This new cluster would be an addition to the hub.
The surgical cluster will have a hall, a common facility centre, a training centre for 200 people at a time, etc.
