State Transport Dept to ply buses all night during Kali Pujo
Like Durga Pujo, the State Transport Department has taken the decision to ply buses all night on the occasion of Kali Pujo.
During the festivities, a lot of people hit the streets at night to visit the different Pujo pandals. Which is why the demand is more during the night than during the day.
Thanks to this initiative of the government, thousands of people can enjoy a hassle-free pandal hopping on Kali Pujo.
কালীপূজোতেও রাতভর চলবে বাস
দুর্গাপুজোর মতই কালীপূজোতেও কলকাতা শহরে সারা রাত বাস চালানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে রাজ্য পরিবহণ দপ্তর। দুর্গাপুজোর সময় সারারাত বাস চালানোর ফলে উপকৃত হয়েছিলেন সাধারণ মানুষ। সেই কথা ভেবেই কালীপুজোর সময় পরিষেবা দেওয়ার উদ্যোগ রাজ্য সরকারের।
দুর্গাপূজোই হোক কিংবা কালীপুজো, দিনের তুলনায় রাতেই মণ্ডপে মণ্ডপে দর্শনার্থীদের ঢল নামে বেশি। তাই তারা যেন রাতের বেলায় শহরের যে কোনো জায়গা থেকে অনায়াসে বাড়ি পারেন, তাই এই উদ্যোগ। উপরন্তু এবার কলকাতায় চলছে বিশ্বকাপ ফুটবল। তাই এমনিতেও রাতে বাস চালাচ্ছে রাজ্য।
স্বাভাবিকভাবেই রাতের বেলায় নিশ্চিন্তে ঠাকুর দেখতে পারবেন আপামর জনসাধারণ।
