Second Industrial Park coming up in Alipurduar district
After Jogijhora, the second Industrial Park in Alipurduar district has been given the go-ahead by the State Government. It will be located in Jaigaon in Kalchini block, on the India-Bhutan border.
The fund for constructing the boundary wall on the 11-acre piece of land has already been sanctioned. Being a border town, Jaigaon has a lot of potential for business.
The work on the first Industrial Park in the district, in Jogijhora village in Falakata area, is on in full swing. It is being set up on 43 acres.
The district, created by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, is developing fast. A lot of work has been done in the tourism sector. Now, industries are being actively encouraged.
The North Bengal Conclave, a major business meet held on December 5, also brought a lot of good news for investment in various sectors in north Bengal, including in Alipurduar district.
আলিপুরদুয়ারে তৈরী হচ্ছে দ্বিতীয় ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল পার্ক
যোগীঝোরার পর আরও একটি ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল পার্ক উপহার পেতে চলেছে আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলা। রাজ্য সরকার এই পার্কের অনুমোদন দিয়েছে। এটি হবে ভারত-ভুটান সীমানার কাছে কালচিনি ব্লকের জয়গাঁতে।
১১ একর জমির চারিদিকে পাঁচিল তুলতে যা খরচ হবে, তা ইতিমধ্যেই অনুমোদন করেছে রাজ্য। সীমান্তবর্তী অঞ্চল হওয়ায় এই ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল পার্কটির বাণিজ্যিক সম্ভাবনা খুব বেশী। এই জেলার যোগীঝোরা গ্রামের ফালাকাটা অঞ্চলের ৪৩ একরের প্রথম ইন্ডাস্ট্রিয়াল পার্কটি তৈরীর কাজ জোরকদমে চলছে।
মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের তৈরী এই জেলা খুব দ্রুত উন্নতি করছে। পর্যটন কেন্দ্র হিসেবে এই অঞ্চলকে তৈরী করার জন্য অনেক কাজ করেছে রাজ্য সরকার এই অঞ্চলে, এবার জোর দিয়েছে শিল্পের দিকেও।
